The media could not be loaded. I really like this shifter it's very good quality and feels very nice to use the gears have a nice clunk when going into gear you also have the option to change the stiffness going into gears but for me I find max stiffness is not stiff enough however I honestly think it's fine at max stiffness I have no problems with it it still has a nice clunk to it but would be nice if it had a bit more resistance it's also nice to have to option to switch to sequential mode for games like dirt rally it works alot better than paddle shift and adds to the emersion it comes with all the tools you need including spare screws and a Alan key it even comes with a very strong table clamp which clamps very well but in my case I decided to hard mount it to my frame with bolts as I have the option overall I'm very happy with this shifter and it's been slot of fun to use I'd 100% recommend this shifter

My son loves this and as an upgrade to his wheel setup he loves the feeling of changing gears, great movement and a high quality premium feel to this and very responsive too

It's a nice shifter and the included mount is study enough for its purpose.It's mostly plastic aside from some metal internals, the knob can also be changed out.The 7 gears + reverse is handy and you can even turn the shifter into an x-axis (possible handbrake solution).It did develop a squeak on that very same x-axis (moving the knob to the right from the center point) but some PTFE WD40 fixed that easily.The gears are short and enter the 'gates' easily and gives good solid feedback so you know your in gear.However I wish the resistance was a little higher, it feels a bit too easy to put into gear, but that's a more immersion complaint as it probably helps during races.Overall great piece of kit for the price and does the job well for a casual sim race.

Has a good shift feel, worked out the box and the included cables are decent quality and have a long length. Only complaint is I use it on a racing stand and the shifter can only be clamp mounted. Even when the clamp is tight during usage the shifter has a tendancy to move around but it isn't that problematic and if you are using a desk it's less of an issue.

Comes with bith H-pattern and sequential shifting mode attachments.The tactile feedback when shifting feels great. I've tried both the H-pattern and the sequential mode, and both work as expected and feel good on the finger.

I love the quietness of the shifter, but I went astep further and placed some neoprene foam rubber material in between the H-gates which made it near silent. In comparison to the Fanatec Clubsport shifter which clicks upon each gear change and has less of a feeling of an H-pattern because of it's smaller range of movement between gears, I was satisfied with my choice of purchase.The quality is great with the 90% metal contruction and the adjustable tension is more than adequate of this type of device and this price range.Changing from H-pattern to sequential mode can take one minute or more which is the only real hindrance to the overall ease of use, as it cannot be changed "on-the-fly".The clamp is strong, the gears are 360 degrees rotatable making it robust and ergonomic.Overall, it is a great experience and adds to the keyword 'immersion' many people look for in an addition such as this, particularly if you are using a clutch in tandem with the gear shifter. Occasionally, Amazon lowers the price of this shifter and it is then when I would recommend making a purchase of this item. If you cannot wait, and Amazon is not doing any price offers, but it is still selling at a good price, I would still recommended making the purchase as it improves the complete package feeling of driving a simulator.

I like how comfortable it was to hold when shifting gears, and how easy it was to mount and also change gears, as it wasn't stiff. Also the amount of gears was nice, as it had seven gears and a reverse gear. Furthermore, it looked cool and amazing with the black and red colours on it, matching my SIM racing setup. The only problem was that it wasn't compatible with my steering wheel, but that is my fault for having a bad wheel. Would recommend

Seller is untrustworthy, be WARNED!I sent my broken shifter back to seller under duress (During start of COVID after TM failed to reply to my repair request email).Royal Mail 2nd Class Delivery confirmed delivery was made; but because no signature was required the company lied and said they hadn't received it.Genuinely stole my rig & probably resold it to somebody else by now....AVOID this company 100%.So What happened to the shifter?First time of trying with my new rig EVERYTHING worked just fine.I liked the feel and for classic cars it is excellent...BUT my second time of using this device it has failed.The TH8A shifter now fails to be recognised on any PC even after attempting a full reset/update.After researching more I find that this issue is happening to a LOT of people and it seems to be a PCI/PCB board failure (Thrustmaster are good at sending replacements).Logitech used to be the go-to for cheap racing gear, and I guess it still is. However the G29 shifter is an abomination, this on the other hand is solid, feels realistic and I love it. Shame it doesn't have buttons on it too, but hey all is good.
