Great Value and Waterproof Too
I am providing my notes from my resent purchase of the X7 bone conduction headphones. We recently finished a lap pool which was the impetus of my purchase.1. Received 6/82. Charged first for 2 hours3. Used connected to Bluetooth a. connected to Bluetooth flawlessly b. sound quality is good albeit somewhat muted because of the bone conduction vs in ear. understandable4. Used connected to Bluetooth in pool a. receives Bluetooth signal as long as the controller/receiver module is above water (swimming) b. If controller/receiver module goes below water surface the signal will terminate because the Bluetooth signal does not penetrate the water. c. However, no issues with continuing signal once controller/receiver module is returned to surface5. Added MP3 files to 32gig drive a. I have an iPhone where my music resides so I searched for MP3 files on my computer and was able to add a test group of files around 120 megabytes. (internal storage is a Very Generous 32 gigabytes)6. Tested QC files a. Tested the playback in dry environment with no issues and relative good sound quality.7. Tested QC files and usage in pool a. Tested MP3 playback in pool and found (1) the Bluetooth must be turned off on all devices previously used for connection because the X7 has an affinity for Bluetooth (within 30 feet) and will try to connect continuously which results in a "connected" and "Disconnected" message over music playing. ensuring Bluetooth is turned off will negate random connection attempts. b. Sound quality - In pool sound quality is variable however always "listenable" while actively swimming c. Volume controls are necessary as the water amplifies the sound, so louder sounds require volume adjustments down and conversely quieter music needs volume increases. This all can be adjusted on the move with the easy to reach and feel volume controls.Lastly, there is a storage pouch with a small case containing ear and nose plugs which is a thoughtful addition.Overall I think the product is great and a great value.

Update: Impressed after experience
Since there were only 6 reviews when I bought this (I know, scary), I thought I would give a good honest and actually tested review.I have bought other Bluetooth devices which are waterproof, but don't work under water because Bluetooth doesn't transmit in water and the earbuds don't have memory to hold the music or communicate to each other under water. So be aware of that (which I'm sure most of you know if you're here looking for these).I really wanted to swim with these, so I charged the headset and was hoping to download some MP3 music/podcasts (for free), which is very difficult to find and I ran out of time. So I decided to just use the Bluetooth mode to just listen to music, I wore the headset with the silicone earplugs and was able to use my chainsaw, miter saw and table saw as part of my Saturday project, I listened to them several hours without discharging (which you would hope to expect, but I thought I should report that). I will say that my head must not be the same shape as those the headsets were designed for and I did get the typical ache on the pinch points, which I'm sure will go away just like the first time I started wearing glasses or began using ear buds (women have a similar thing getting their hair brushed when it hasn't been done before), so probably not a big deal. Then this morning, found some church music and podcasts at ChurchofJesusChrist.org because I knew they had downloads for free. I jumped in the pool and here is my report:- First, there are 16 volume levels from zero to max.- Generally, music could be easily enjoyed at level 13.- Podcast speech had to be listened to at level 16 to hear everything. Even then depending on the stroke even then I wouldn't be able to understand every word.- Freestyle; if I swam a little more slowly and smoothly I could understand everything. Harder freestyle or butterfly is when I would loose words.- Backstroke; because my ears are lower in the water away from the surface noise, I could hear much better- Underwater swimming; amazing to swim along the bottom of the pool and not just hear anything, but everything perfectly clear. It was pretty great. I'm excited to try it while I'm diving in the ocean.- Shower; after I got out to take a shower, I decided to keep them on and just see. They did well except when the water was directly hitting the speakers. All in all I am pleased and since there were only 6 ratings when I bought, I thought I would give a rating. I would have give higher ratings if I had longer with them with the same performance.Oh, and sound quality out of water isn't as good headphones or earbuds, so I will keep running with my earbuds, although having the open ear could be nice to not remove my earbuds when saying hi to a random neighbor or n the wild to hear the surroundings, but I haven't tried that.Lastly, the charging/data cable/connector and use with my computer to download the music were flawless, as was the pairing to my Samsung phone.Updated: my wife was able to download dozens of songs from our old CD files. I swam this morning and it was great to listen to U2, Erasure, Les Miserable, and other songs while I swam. Also, I tried swimming with and without ear plugs. Both worked almost equally well. I also dove in a couple times with no issues, jumped feet-first and they popped off my ears. I also swam tethered and free with flip turns and no issues with fit or form, or comfort. I also left the headset on since last night at 7 until now 8am and have listened to the onboard music and Bluetooth while I got ready, drove to work and now at work.Last Update 1 week after: one charged worked for 6 hours of listening of both Bluetooth and offline and 48 hours of standby. I should state that the buttons are a bit hard to depress, but they're workable (induction buttons wouldn't work in water).

Comfortable, but dosen't work now
At first, I was excited they felt comfortable, but then I found out it doesn't work underwater. It says you can upload an mp3 and then it will work underwater, but after uploading the mp3 the device would not switch from Bluetooth to device play mode even following the device instructions didn't help or work. The fully charged device just shut down and died never to work again. I waited too long to get a refund now. Updated the seller was professional and offered me a refund even though it was months past the purchase date. Thank you

My #1 swimspa accessory
Bluetooth works normally- but bluetooth simply does not work well when swimming as the water will disrupt the signal. With these- i bluetooth when getting ready to swim and while drying off/sitting by soa. But when i get into the water to hit the current and swim- i switch to the memory and my songs come through loud and clear despite the sound of water and current jets. And it really was easy to move songs from my itunes to the earbuds. (Just be aware you may need to get an app to change itunes current file type to MP3)Am very pleased with this purchase.
