This cable works exactly as advertised. I’m using it to connect my laptop to an external monitor, and the display is sharp and smooth at 4K with no flickering or signal drops. You don't know what fluid is until you've used macOS on a 240hz, 1440p display (which this supports perfectly). It's really jaw dropping. Well built cable, I appreciate the included velcro tie and the braided cable.

Great cord. Allowed easy connection of my MacBook and monitor without adding xtra adapters or dongle which had become increasingly annoying to manage. This simple cord simplified my desk setup. It is good quality and has held up for many months with no problems.

I’m starting college soon and invested in a laptop of course in order to do my course work, but for when I’m at home I wanted the ability to display my laptop screen on my pre-existing monitor that I use for my Xbox and switch. My monitor has 2 hdmi ports and one display port so I opted for the display port since the two HDMI’s were taken up and I was not disappointed. It works seamlessly with my Microsoft surface laptop 7 and I only had to go in settings to change a few things such as resolution/screen fitting as well as enabling 120hz (which this cord supports at 1080p) *though for me when I have both displays on simultaneously I’m unable to enable 120hz on my monitor, this might just be a user issue though and I’m unable to figure out how to fix it. It feels smooth with just my monitor on and I don’t have any issues with bugging or clarity issues. I chose the 3ft cord since I only need it for when I’m working at my desk and didn’t want a super long cord dangling, it can stretch long enough to reach the very end of my desk (should be visible in one of the pictures). Looks fine and simple, I don’t think it’s something that should stop anyone from buying. Nothing I can really complain about or nitpick.

This cable shorted out my monitor. I was using another uni cable on my laptop seconds before switching to this one and my monitor had been working fine. The very moment I plugged this cable in my monitor went black. Now it won't turn on. I contacted the seller and they assured me every single cable is tested 3-4 times before leaving the factory. They didn't ask for any lot numbers or ask me to return the cable for inspection. Just told me there is no way the cable could be at fault and to return it for a refund. Terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY if you want your monitors to survive!

I was really sad I had to return this cable. I loved the quality and appearance of this cable. It was heavy duty and just the right length. I went to hook it up to my computer, only to realize that I did not have an HDMI display port on my monitor. I needed an HDMI only. My mistake or I would’ve used it and loved it. Confirm your HDMI port types before your order would be my only advice.
