I've probably tried 20 different brands of facial sunscreen over the past ten years - no kidding. None have ever been truly great, until this one. While it is a totally mineral sunscreen, it seems to have the best attributes of both mineral and chemical sunscreens. It wears more like a chemical sunscreen in that it lacks the thick white cast I usually associate with mineral screens. On the other hand, it is gentler than any chemical screen I've tried. This is seriously great stuff. A bit pricey, but worth it.

This is light and wonderful! I use it on every vacation.

Not great for using as a base on your face, it tends to pill up.

Chemical free and what I love about this is how it goes on top of make-up really well and looks really smooth. EVERYONE has commented on how good my skin looks. It works against the sun but it's also really sensitive and doesn't leave you with break-outs at all. Love it.

Just got this product recently and couldn’t wait to try it out. The product went on nicely and smelled fine. But when I went to my daughter’s water polo game in 90 degree weather, the sunscreen got in my right eye causing stinging and irritation. I spent the entire day trying to dab it with water and flush it out. My eye got more irritated and lingered into the evening until bedtime. Even after I had washed it all off my face. I woke up the next morning with crust around my eye. So, this is a warning that you consider this when purchasing the product. Two days later and the skin around my eye is still irritated.

I recently purchased this product in addition to several other mineral-based sunscreens to do a little comparison.I have only used this product once, but for myself, the smell was really overwhelming, especially given that it goes on your face. I do tend to be a bit sensitive to smells, but I have never really had this issue with any beauty products before. I literally just removed it from the shelf after being bothered for 15 mins. Maybe I'll pass it along to someone else who's less likely to be bothered. But I don't think I can use this product again.That being said, it seems like a very good sunscreen otherwise. Just beware the smell if you tend to be a little sensitive.

This product has a more gel-like consistency than other mineral sunscreens I have tried. It helps when applying to squirmy grandkids! The product is very protective and has prevented any sunburns and even tanning. I highly recommend.

Great mineral SPF. Non irritating or white cast on me.
