The InSinkErator HOT250 has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen. The ability to instantly dispense both near-boiling hot water and cold, filter-ready water right from the same faucet is incredibly convenient. Whether I'm preparing tea, warming baby bottles, or quickly rinsing dishes, this system handles it all with ease. One thing to note is that while the system is filter-compatible, the water filter itself was a separate purchase. However, it was easy to install and has worked seamlessly with the dispenser, ensuring great-tasting water every time. The design is sleek and stylish, especially with the satin nickel finish, which blends seamlessly with my kitchen decor. The dual-handle system is intuitive, with the hot water handle featuring a spring-loaded safety mechanism that automatically shuts off the water when released, providing an extra layer of safety. Installation was straightforward, and the 360-degree swivel spout adds to its usability, allowing me to direct the water exactly where I need it. The stainless steel tank is durable and keeps the water at the perfect temperature, with adjustable controls that let me set it between 160°F and 210°F. Overall, this dispenser has exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. It's a must-have for any kitchen that values both functionality and style. Highly recommended!

Excellent product. I’ve had several over the past 30+ years. I like this one best because it provides instant hot water, and it also can dispense filtered cold water eliminating the nasty chlorine taste. I purchased this one as a factory refurbished model with the same warranty as a new one. Unfortunately the heating unit was not as good as new. It never heated the water above 149 degrees. BUT, the manufacturer’s service department was excellent. One short phone call to explain what was happening and a replacement was shipped without delay. The replacement works just fine.

For twenty plus years we had a high end unit, this replacement is every bit as good . Installation was uncomplicated and completed in an hour. Strongly recommended.

The water is quite hot and cold water come out in a nice stream. It seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. My plumber says he has installed many of these and he has had no problems

Had a single instant hit only for many years but wanted to incorporate filtered cold as well so this was perfect. Install was relatively straight forward and I had no major issues. When I first installed it and ran the water it did seem to leak a bit but that seems to have gone away so may have just been air in the lines causing pressure issues. Wife loves it so no complaints.

This model is far better than previous models where the hot/cold levers pull outward to turn on. In previous models our cold side repeatedly broke (wouldn’t stay on by itself). This updated design not only looks nice, but the water flow is significantly more and is smooth and works so well. We are so happy with ours! PS: it would have taken my supply store 6 weeks to get this but Amazon had it to me in 2 days. Plumber installed. Easy to use. Hot water side has safety shut off.

Replaced my current cold filtered water spout with this hot & cold spout after seeing it at a relative's home and can't be more happy with the decision because it made my wife happy. As they say, happy wife, happy life. I like the safety feature where the hot water handle has to be held and as soon as you leave it, it shuts down. The cold one works the same way as any regular water spout. The water heater under the counter doesn't have a really large footprint and installation is fairly easy if you are handy. The water temperature can be controlled with the knob, I keep it in the middle for now and that's still pretty hot. Max level would probably give boiling water 😆. It's from a trusted brand, comes with a good warranty and looks good. It's a bit expensive but when it comes to plumbing I would never take risk of installing cheap stuff and worry about causing thousands of dollars worth of damage in my kitchen. So totally worth every penny in my view.

It worked fine for five months and then it started leaking at a fast rate from under the faucet right under my kitchen sink flooding the sink area and dripping into my basement. This product is not safe or reliable and damages my kitchen cabinet and flooring. I attached pictures of the faucet and how it leaks. The handles are also secured with security screws which prevent any home repairs without the right tool to remove the handles and fix the leak. Do not buy this. Find an alternative brand or product.
