This product is really aggressive at removing material when shaping a cue.
I used this to remove mushrooming from a 13mm tip, it took part of the ferrule down to 12mm. Be careful using it, there is no depth stop on the large trimmer part.

A must have!
If you have a pool table in your home, or are just an avid player or enthusiast, this little cue tool will come in handy. I recently inherited a pool table that needed some TLC. With that, I decided to buy some new cues, and they needed some attention. The tips were not prepped for playing, and this tool paid for itself, helping with shaping and readying the tips for prime time. It’s a solid tool with many features and I’d be hard pressed to be without it after using it.

One tool that can do it all!
I have several of these tip maintenance tools. This one is the most versatile. It can help you maintain multiple tip sizes.For example the pencil sharpener type blade and tunnel can cut the sides of your tip after gluing on a new tip or fixing a mushrooming tip. this tool can handle 10-13mm tip sizes. It can probably handle sub 10mm snooker type tips also. The long tunnel and taper allows for this feature. You have to move the blade up or down the tunnel using the Allen wrench to loosen and tighten the screws after moving the bladeThere are 3 tip rounding/shaping cups which have an abrasive surface. Each cup has a different radius for your top preference. For example nickel radius or dime radius. A quick spin in the cup area helps maintain the tip and avoid flattening of the top.The u-shaped abrasive surface is used for freehand tip shaping. One star deducted because the abrasive surface was misaligned (glued on incorrectly)Tool comes with extra blade and Allen wrench.Overall a good product. Could use better quality control.
