For the price, I hesitated, but after installing each Luminara Flickering Flameless Votive in my holders, I am DELIGHTED!Yes, they are expensive, but the moving fame LOOKS REAL, and I do not have to worry about burning anything or messing with melted wax!Each votive requires a small CR2450 disk coin-shaped battery installation, and the first four batteries are included... I ordered a dozen batteries to have on hand over the holidays.These pretend LUMINARA votives illuminate just like REAL VOTIVES and look best in crystal glass votives.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The batteries do not last longer than a month, if you're lucky, set from day one on the timer mode but they're absolutely beautiful!!! They look like real candles flickering :)

Luminara taper and pillar candles are delightful. And though the tea lights are attractive at first, they rapidly disappoint. The timers turn off the candles but do not turn them back on. Battery life is a fraction of the advertised 50 hours. On the contrary, these little creatures have a voracious appetite for their button batteries, consuming them in about ten hours or less. My greatest disappointment was with Luminara product support. My initial email about ten days ago went unanswered, and I sent a follow-up after several days. The company has yet to respond. You would be hard-pressed to find a business that is more indifferent to its customers. I am returning the tea lights and will be cautious about purchasing any of their products in the future.UPDATE: Luminara customer service contacted me after this review was submitted but before it was posted, which is to say that my negative comments did not prompt their response. The suggestions provided by the representative to correct the issues with the tea lights were lengthy and could be beneficial, but I had already arranged for their return. Thus, I will modify my criticism of the product by saying that there are apparently measures that will improve its performance. I mainly wanted to absolve Luminara's customer service from my unfair portrayal of it as indifferent. If you need help with their products, they will try to help.

I am using all four of these in some new candle holders I bought. These are the most realistic flameless candles. They are a little more expensive than others but the quality is much better than others. They also work well with a remote control that I already had if you don’t want to use the timer option. The timer option is also great though so you don’t have to turn them on and off manually. They really glow and flicker nicely and the size and neutral color is perfect. No worries of burning anything either like real candles.

One candle was not working, so I changed the battery and now it works fine!

I love the candles, they are beautiful! But the batteries don’t last long at all and it’s too much hassle to change to use them on a daily basis. I’ve seen they can last for 50 hours or 500 hours. I’m not sure which it’s supposed to be but I’m getting right at about 50 hours. That’s charging the batteries about 3 times a month using them every day. I’ve. I’ve not used them since changing the batteries twice.If you turn them on with the remote and forget to turn them off they go off automatically in about 5 hours which is great. Except to turn them back on I have to physically take the candles out of the candle holders and flip the switch. I had them in hard to reach areas which is why I wanted them. I’m back to regular candles and these are sitting in the drawer until I need them for something specific. But again, when they are on they are absolutely wonderful.But if 50 hours is enough for you the. They are great.

They are great in flame simulation. I feel safe and don't have to worry about candle fumes and flame. I can light up my Jesus in any room.

These little tealights are beautiful. However, I ordered two packs of four and all eight batteries were dead. I filled out the contact form for the manufacturer but did not receive a response. I replaced the batteries with Energizer batteries and all eight tealights work great. Unfortunately, I had to pay for the eight batteries myself.
