I was a little sceptical as this item promises a lot for a small price tag. I've had it up for around a week now and so far I'm definitely not disappointed. It's bright enough to cover your average sized garden, the variable colour temperature works well and the app seems pretty solid so far.It connected to my WiFi on the first go without a problem. Integration wise I've had it connected to Alexa and Home Assistant without any issues. Home Assistant requires a little bit of setting up with Tuya IoT but it works well once that's done.There is one slight niggle as mentioned in previous reviews - once the light is turned off by the app, Alexa or Home Assistant it doesn't revert back to sensor mode. To work around this I've made a rule in the device app that detects when it enters the off state and moves it back to sensor mode. The screenshot of the rule is in the photos.Build wise it seems as solid as any other LED flood and time will tell how long it lasts.So far, so good!

This is a very good floodlight and although not perfect I could not find anything better at the price. One problem that all the reviews mention is that if you use Alexa to switch it on then it stays in manual mode and the motion sensor is inactive. However one of the previous reviews mentions that you can program this out in the Smart Life app and this is correct. It works perfectly defaulting back to sensor mode when Alexa is used to turn it off. The other issues are small but potentially important. The Hellymoon lights replaced failed LAP 50W ones which were slightly brighter (but not by a lot). If you have a very large garden are area a 70W or 80W version would be ideal, but unfortunately they do not seem offer one so I added another light. The light probably works best at a height below 3m but the cable is only 1.5m, My soffit is just under 5m high I installed one of the lights at about 4m but found I could not tilt the light down enough. The bracket gives insufficient standoff from the wall and the sensor limits the tilt to about 45 degrees max. The light appears to be well built and is relatively small and inconspicuous. The ability to control the motion sensitivity, daylight sensitivity, brightness, duration, as well as having a manual on/off from the phone or by Alexa is brilliant and for this reason I am about to buy 2 more lights so I would recommend it.

I ordered this to replace my old back garden light which finally gave up.I have to say I'm very impressed!It lights up our garden completely, and I like being able to change the intensity and colour.As others have stated, you'll need to tinker to get it to change back to sensor mode after turning off but it's fairly straightforward.The sensor works well, unlike some reviews have mentioned...Easy to link to Google Assistant for voice activation which is wonderful.The app is easy to use too.Highly recommended!

Very bright.But but the PIR is not very good. Its not 11m more like 6m set it to most sensitive on app and if you want 11m forget it buy a different light.I'm in 2 minds to take it down and send it back as faulty or performance does not match description. I will think over night...very dissatisfied with this pir. The pir it replaced was better. This one does not cover the area the old one covered and the old one was 11m infrared same. Only reason I swapped was the old one had a slight crack in lens this one is a down grade if anything.Don't buy.But the light is very bright as a on off light using the app on your phone.

I've had this light up for months now and can't fault it. Sensor is good and happy with the light it gives off.It's basically facing the Atlantic and takes a seriously battering from the weather but is still as good as the day it went up.Works with Alexa, although I'm changing everything to home assistant and it works well throght that too.I have just bought a 2nd.

Firstly, these were installed by a qualified electrician because of the access work required for them and a load of other work I was having done at the same time, but I could see they weren't comlicated if you just wanted to take a spur from your existing circuit.Having downloaded the app linked by a QR code in the instructions, installation and setting up was a doddle. The brightness was fantastic and the ability to change the colour temperature of them a real bonus to match with other garden lighting I have.I had a switch on my last lights but these have the ability to be used as either PIR or On/Off lights with just a few taps of my phone.It takes a lot for me to be very impressed with new technology but for £31, I thought these were functionally amazing and great value for money.

This was installed and connected to wifi with easy and worked well.However, when the power was cut it would not reconnect no matter what I tried.Contacting the seller was good. Followed their requests but still could not get the light to connect - could not get it to flash on set up.Seller then sent a replacement free of charge. This was installed as easily as the first time and have had no issues since.Can't fault customer support and seller communication on this.Would buy another.

Worked fine for a few weeks. Went away on holiday and apparently the light lost the connection with our WiFi. A concerned neighbour contacted us to say our light was constantly flashing, annoying people across the road and effectively advertising the fact to local criminals, that we were not around. Tried to reset the light remotely, but to no avail. On return from our holiday, I tried to reset the light, but with little success. Really wish I’d bought a cheaper, less complicated light.
