These are excellent for fitting insulation boards. They spread the load very evenly, reducing the chances of boards coming adrift.These are very much for domestic use, as I understand that professionals use metal equivalents, as these will eventually melt at high temperatures - they are fire-retardant, not fire proof.

I used these recently to fix PIR insulation boards to rafters and walls on an extension. Worked a treat. I’m sure they will have multiple uses but for insulation work they are brilliant.

The fact that these washers are flame retardant gives a bit more peace of mind and safety.They feel of good quality and durable, so I'd expect them to hold up under pressure and go the distance.So far, they've been reliable and do the job as expected by spreading the load across a decent area, so no issues on that front.At £25.95 for a pack of 100, which was the price at time of writing, they're relatively good value too.

Used these washers to fix some insulation boards in my garage. They spread the load effectively and blended well with the board due to their cream colour. I needed some washers for putting up some cellex insulation boards in my daughters bedroom celing. Due to having low roofs condensation was a issue. However now all fixed with insulation boards and these handy washers which worked great fitting into the beams above. And into the lathe and plaster.

We used them to secure insulation to the ceiling of our sheds so we didn’t have to use the netting. Strong and secure and did the job well.
