Great Stem kit!
These were a fabulous present for my 6 year old son. I will say that it does take some patience, as the screws are quite small, but he enjoyed making all of them. I did have to help a bit, but it’s a cool kit for kids! I would recommend!

Brought for my Great Nephew he loves robots & making things so I seen this & gave it to him from the Easter bunny along with his Easter basket , as soon as he opened it he had to make something , which is awesome since he pushed aside his basket to make a robot to me that is awesome , I think he made two different robots and just loves the kit , so it holds a child's attention which is awesome .

Fun project for kids (with some help from adults)
I bought the "STEM Kits for Kids Crafts 6-8 8-12" to build with my granddaughters. Overall the sets were well and the parts were somewhat pre-sorted to help identify which were to be used for different steps. The instructions are fine for an adult/instructor but I think they would be very hard to follow for the targeted age group. My only real complaint is that the screws used are VERY small and difficult to install. You are only putting the screws into plastic, but the screw heads are small and the provided screwdriver requires a significant amount of pressure to get the screws started and not strip out the screw heads. Even with a good screwdriver, the screws are difficult to install. If I were building the kit alone, it would have taken about 15-20 minutes the first time through. With my 6 year old granddaughter's help, it took about an hour. We both found the build to be fun and the kit was an excellent complexity level to keep her interested without becoming overly frustrated.

Excellent purchase! It’s the ideal gift for 6-year-olds. The versatility is great; they don’t get bored because it allows them to create multiple robot designs instead of just one. It's entertaining, sparks the imagination, and the quality is top-notch.

Difficult Assembly Made This Toy Impossible For Us to Use
My 6 year-old granddaughters were so excited to order and receive this robot kit, but it is very, very hard to assemble the robots -- even for the adults among us who were trying to help the kids. Love the idea of this kit, but each robot must be assembled using a number of extremely tiny screws, and not one of us was able to successfully place and screw them in successfully. For this reason, we are unable to assemble and use this toy at all. Such a disappointment. High quality toy, but think it is strangely difficult to use -- for adults and kids alike.

Love it! My son was so excited! He’s 7 and is able to put the parts together. He does take a long time to put the screws because they were small. He asks for my help = bonding time. If they were a bit bigger, he will be able to do it easily by himself.
