My Shih Tzu developed a tracheal cough, and she was coughing frequently. After lots of searching I ordered PawHealer Trachea Soother Syrup, and was amazed that her coughs immediately began to diminish - I would say the frequency/duration/severity have dropped by at least 90%. I put the liquid on her food twice daily. My only wish is either a lower price or a greater quantity per bottle. Given as directed, a bottle would last less than a month. Otherwise, I'm thrilled with this product.

i really wish it wasn't so expensive, cost more than the prescription for dog syrup for her condition.

I think this helps with the dogs coughing but it is pretty pricey. Until the price comes down, I probably won't be buying more.

I believe I have reviewed this product before, but as I was asked for a review, I will give one. I have had cairn terriers most of my adult life and when I noticed the "coughing" with my first, I went to the vet straightaway. He advised me it was what was called "collapsing trachea" and was more prevalent in small dogs, as their tracheas were "softer." There was no cure, so I just had to "live with it" and suffer each time I heard my poor furbaby cough/choke. One day, years later, I found on Amazon this soothing syrup (looks and tastes a lot like honey) and decided to give it a try. Well, it works! I give it to my "girls" 2x a day after meals and their symptoms are basically gone. If one happens to couth, I give a drop, and it is better. I have been buying this for years and will continue to do so as long as I have dogs! I whole-heartedly recommend this product!

Not worth the money and I should have researched this product more, look at the ingredients. Scary!! my dog threw up three times after I gave it to him. Waste of $60.00. I bet this review is not even published.

Worked very well for my dog that had a persistent cough!

This product worked miracles for my beagle Paisley. We started giving her the trachea soother about three weeks ago and her cough has virtually disappeared!! I would highly recommend this product for anyone who's dog is suffering from a collapsed trachea.
