Exercises for the Ancients
As an ancient I initially purchased the book on fitness resistance bands which I I find useful, I enjoyed the style, layout and content and went on to complete the set by purchasing the other books in the series which I’m now using to improve my general fitness. My only minor gripe is the use of QR codes to access the additional video and audio material, I’d prefer to have hyperlinks instead of or in addition to the QR codes. Otherwise the books do what they set out to deliver.

Beginners book?
Exercises are good but pages of, for me, unnecessary stuff of routines etc. Tempted to just tear out relevant pages. Good for a complete beginner.

Balance for Seniors
David did an amazing job with providing clear explanations of exercises, QR codes for videos as well as pictures showing each exercise. He then added workouts and schedule for a week, this keeps one motivated as there are different weekly workout recommendations which takes out the guess work of what exercises to put together to maximize your work workout.

Excellent book for balance issues
The author is very thorough in explaining how to improve balance regardless of mobility level. He talks about realistic outcomes and how to set goals. He outlines step by step how to do each exercise and includes illustrations. He includes a QR code to scan that links to a video demonstration of each exercise. These exercises can be done with minimal equipment of a chair and resistance bands and light weights to make the exercise a little harder. The author also shows you ways exercises can be modified to be more challenging without using other equipment. For example, holding hands behind head or lifting arms in air or doing exercise using one leg. What I really liked is that the author speaks to three ability levels: low, medium and high mobility. He shows you how each exercise can be modified to accommodate each level. He gives three to four workout plans for each week in case you want to do something a little different. I like that the exercises and workouts are simple to do and can be done at home or at the office. He demystifies the subject of trying to get better balance and takes the aggravation out of figuring out if something will work or not, how many reps to do, how much rest time between exercises, etc.The one thing I did find was that I was unable to get all the QR codes to scan. I have sight issues, so I read with single page view. This caused the QR codes and illustrations to blur slightly since they were enlarged, so that may have been the issue or it could have been the camera on my phone.I highly recommend this book to anyone who has balance issues and/or mobility issues. The exercises are simple and there are many to choose from if you can't do one or need to modify the exercise to make it more challenging. You build strength at each level so if you work diligently at it, you could go from low mobility to high mobility. I'm at medium mobility level and although my strength and coordination and balance has improved by following the instructions, I'm not able to do all the high mobility exercises yet (like standing on one leg while doing squats).
