I was kind of worried about the soft release in this kit after reading some of the reviews, since I was buying it for my Fuji X-T20. A lot of people said it just came off when in use. I think their issue was that they only hand tightened it, as a precaution when I was installing it I grabbed a small pair of long nose pliers and tightened the button a little more - I was cautious not to over torque it and damage my camera but since then I have been able to use the soft release really nicely. It adds a little accent to my all black camera and makes it more functional at the same time. I must say though for two tiny red screws with an o ring the price was a bit high.TLDR: Make sure you tighten the screws with some pliers and enjoy what you’ve paid good money for.

I love these things. I am using the convex one at the moment and it certainly adds a good feel to the operation of the shutter button. They fit well with a rubber sealing washer and the red looks good against the silver of my Fuji. Recommended
