Also, the installation took me about 10 minutes, which made me feel way more competent than I probably am. Our pool pumps (main and booster) are continuously exposed to the harsh elements here in N. Texas. I bought these covers to protect our investments and extend the life of our pool pumps. The fit was pretty good, but one of the interior clips broke. Despite that, the covers are in place and protecting our two Pentair pool pumps from wind, sun & rain.

The quality of the plastic is good. And it fits fine over the motor only. HOWEVER, my Pentair Whisperflo motor has a 'box-shaped' enclosed keypad that sits on top of the motor. Therefore, the enclosed brackets cannot be used at all (see 3rd photo). They don't sit low enough to hug the motor, so they're not usable. The cut-out lined up perfectly for the conduit. We'll see how it lasts through the Florida sun. P.S. Once I slid a side panel into the lid's groove, I had to use a small rubber mallet to tap it in further.

Description says works with a variety of pumps, but that is pretty vague I guess. This only fit one of my three pumps (1HP Falls Pump if it helps anyone). Clipped on fine and looked OK for that pump. But was super loose on 3/4 booster and didn't fit 1.5HP main pump at all.

It's a bit tight to put together, but a bit of lube made it go together. Looks pretty sturdy.

Flimsy and cheap.

Comes disassembled, to be expected, 100% plastic, even the brackets that secure it to the motor. My pump is in the sun for about 14 hours a day. Motor Heat, Sun - will the plastic last, or even stay connected? I will update with ratings in month or so, once it has a had some use. Adding a star as the assembly and rigidity are good, and they included a knockout for the electrical cord. Now the big question is, how will this fair in the sun all day long.

Quality is terrible, one piece has a hole in it the other is covered in scratched from someone trying to scrape off areas. These look like defective pieces, that they put in a kit

Side wall tabs where the clamp inserts go are are brittle and broke off. The roof and side wall seems alright. Hopefully it works OK even with out using broken plastic side wall tab. I even cut the triangle inserts which go into the side wall tabs. Set-up seems working fine and clamps are sitting well on the pump. Only other issue is cut out for pump wire doesnot match my pump, so wire pushes side wall out a bit. Hope set-up lasts for few yrs atheist.
