It works fine but note that the included rainwater diverter device is designed for standard house downpipes, usually around 68 mm. I dropped one star because the plastic tap and threads were made of thin plastic and required careful fitting to avoid damage and leaks, and I have yet to find the correct size hose fitting for my basic irrigation system.I used a smaller diverter for a 50 mm pipe on a small shed so its positioning was slightly different from the supplied directions to work properly. The butt must be accurately level on firm ground that will not sink under the weight of 100 kg of water. After all that, I expected it to take a few weeks to fill in the 'dry' month of August but it was full after just a few light showers.The plastic tap, despite coming with a rubber washer is not designed to become water-tight using compression like some other plumbing fittings. I tried this and it ended up at an odd angle and still leaked. The leakage path is through the threads so you will need some PTFE tape to wrap tightly around these before fitting. Then you can hand-tighten it as far as the threads will allow and if necessary back it off a little to be correctly vertical. So far mine is OK. When we get enough rain I will report on what happens when the butt fills to the rim.

Pretty good, I have 2. Ome did develop a leak though in cold weather around the tap seal after 6 months. Easy fix with silicone. Shop around, they can be cheaper elsewhere.
