Love this knife. I buy whole chickens every couple weeks and this knife is very shard and perfect for butchering.

We do a ton of home processing of wild game, so we're always on the look out for extra knives. I'm not big on spending a ton of money on knives that will eventually get lost, but buying cheap knives is always a risk. These had decent reviews, so I purchased one to try. So far, it's been great. It came extremely sharp and did a fine job right out of the package after a gentle wash. It seems to hold an edge pretty well, even when dealing with fur and bone and was ready for use after quickly running it over a steel. It's a nice size and the handle is comfortable for my small hands. Will definitely buy two or three more in preparation for next deer season.

The knife looks great and probably works well but it it made in CHINA.

Really great knife at an incredible price. Great packaging, paper-cutting sharp out of the box and well designed and executed.I own plenty of Wustoff and Henkel knives and love them all, but these Dexter knives, as boning, meat prep and general cooking knifes, can't not be beat for the price. This is my second, the first one "vanished", so I know they hold up well, keep a good edge and only require a pass or two over sharpened to regain their edge. My preferred knife for anything that does not require an actual chefs knife.Great value compared to the big two or three knife company equivalents.
