I usually don’t write reviews, but bass is a bit lacking when compared to other speakers. However, if we consider its bass output for a close environment, it’s sufficient, especially when seated. It’s not comparable to boom box-type speakers, though. If I were to describe it, it’s like a theatre-like feeling, which you’d love. But that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it outside. I’d give it an 8.7/10 for bass. However, I can tell you that the surround system experience is excellent. It’s like a premium soundbar, but portable. It works best with tablets and laptops. Even without a surround system, the experience is great if you’re close to it. The music it produces is marvellous. Now, how would I rate this speaker? 15/10! Why? Because it outperforms and offers new categories that you can’t find in this price range, let alone a capable speaker at that price. No contender, unless you buy a sound system. Excellent sound, you can hear those minute details that we usually hear in a good quality headphone. Good built quality, nice packing. Battery life is good, easily lasts for 10 to 15 hours. Charges fully in 3hrs. Please don't expect thumping bass, only large speakers can do that. Towards heavy side, and it's good as speakers shake with music. Can fill up a hall easily. Has good loudness. Retro looks gives it a premium feel and can easily be a part of a highly decorated home.

This is one of my greatest purchases. This is arguably the best Bluetooth speaker in my opinion for the price. What a brilliant sounding machine. It plays every genre of music regally. I love listening to lossless Western classical music through it via LDAC on an Android phone(with LDAC support). The X600 supports LDAC that could be enabled on an Android phone through the Soundcore app. I use the Apple Music app with the X600 all the time on my Android phone as Apple Music supports Lossless formats in its Settings. The sound projection gives you a larger than life experience. When you go for wired connection.. you may be able to play Hi-Res Lossless/Higher Bit codecs(via Apple Music app) through MacBook/Mac(3.5 mm audio jack). For Windows PC.. you need a channel that supports Hi-Res/Higher Bit Lossless music(through 3.5mm jack). Bluetooth is limited to SBC, AAC. LDAC, aptX, aptX HD capability may differ by hardware and software drivers for Windows systems. There are premium apps/websites that provide Lossless/Hi-Res/Higher Bit music. The Soundcore X600 is the best Bluetooth speaker that I have ever owned. It is outstanding for music, podcasts, movies etc etc. Anything to do with sound.. this product is a one stop solution. The battery is good. When you play LDAC or other Hi-Res Lossless codecs.. then the playing time may vary. The full charging time(USB-C) is 6 hours when charged from nil. The physical buttons are illuminated. You can change the brightness of the buttons through the Soundcore app. The build is quite sturdy. Premium metallic build. It looks great. For customising the sound.. you have an option to directly download third party Soundcore equaliser configs and directly apply to your X600 through the Soundcore app. There are many great equaliser configurations available on the internet for the Soundcore devices. Apart from the default preset configs.. you can download unlimited third party equaliser configs and save those in the Soundcore app. In the end.. Just go for it. You won't regret!

I bought this as a replacement of bose sounddock 2 which went for repairs and never came back. The packaging , build quality and workmanship is superb. Pairing with bluetooth is easy and fast. Linking this with app is very easy. Sound quality- don't go by its size as it will blow your brains off. The bass is great but not overwhelming. If you want a party speaker to listen chamiya songs, then this is not for you. The sound is a little bright especially spatial sound mode on but this can be adjusted using equalizer on. I shot the video using iphone and streamed music from amazon music app. If you are using apple music or spotify , the quality is likely to be great and rich. This is ideally a bedroom or a study room speaker but its performance in a living room is equally great. For smaller rooms, you can pair up with tv through aux cable or bluetooth , but then this cannot be compared with a dolby powered soundbars. I was going to buy bose revolve 2 speaker but changed my mind; will write another review after using it for next two weeks. Two weeks after- dont use any eq mode and let it remain on flat mode. Ideal listening should be at 50% volume.
