This is legit.
I'll be honest and admit I had very low expectations for this thing, but was willing to try it out. I'm glad I did. It works as advertised and the kids love it. The most important thing is it HAS to be on level ground so it shoot straight into the air, otherwise the rocket will just fall off at the precipice of the water stream. I had issues getting it level with the spray nozzle sitting on the grass, but I just dropped a brick paver on the grass, leveled it as best I could and put the sprinkler on that and voila! The rocket stays in the air as long as the water is running.

Breaks upon re-entry.
It could have been made sturdier and with less pieces to assemble. It will eventually misalign with the vertical water jet and crash. If you do it on a driveway, that crash will probably result in a broken spaceship that can’t take off again without glueing the top back on.

Didn't work
This just didn't work as it should for me. The racket kept falling once it shoots up leaving a steady stream of water shooting from the base. I adjusted the water pressure several times but still it would go up then come crashing down. I bought this hoping it would be something fun for my 8 year old nephew but I think he would have more fun with a sprinkler.

Fun idea for a sprinkler
I love unique and fun toys for my kids. Especially, anything that can entertain them outside. This fits that mold pretty well. It’s such a fun idea. Unfortunately, it’s not the best at staying upright. It’s just very sensitive in the amount of pressure you can send its way. If you give it too much it blasts off like a rocket (which is a fun way to play with it honestly), but give it too little pressure and it doesn’t go up at all. You can find the right pressure and it’s pretty neat to watch hover in the air. But as soon as your kid runs through the water stream it will fall and you have to do it all over again.I still find this a fun toy and like I said, just cranking the pressure all the way up and launching it up is pretty fun and the kids like that.

My grandkids love it.
The grandkids have had a ball with this. It doesn't look highly durable but if not abused it should be fine. They took it to a friends house and it was a hit there. I think Amazon got 2 more sales that night.

I'm a 40yr old man child who "bought this for the kids"
Update: Few uses in and fin is cracking up the side. Foam piece falls out constantly. If the rocket goes too high it crashes back down to earth. Figured it could only do this so many times. Is it fun? Yup. Is it going to last with normal use? Prob not very long. Worth the price point? No worse than other cheap toys my kids have broken just playing with them. This one slots into the "Fun while it lasted" category.Original review: This water-powered rocket is pure hilarity in a box! No assembly required, just pure splash-tastic fun. Bought it for my kids, but guess who's hogging all the rocket launches? Yup, yours truly. Who needs a midlife crisis when you can have a water-propelled rocket? Kidults, rejoice! 🚀🌊

Great gift
My nephew and niece love this!!! They are 2 and 4 years old and spend so much time outside in this heat with it. The rocket does go really high so make sure the pressure of the water isn’t too strong lol.
