This is a great little TV mini PC.1. Streams videos online great at 4K and 1080P, no slow downs. Low CPU usage. 680m GPU is awesome.2. Has plenty of power and it very quiet.3. Runs Linux Mint flawlessly. ( I did re-install Windows 11 pro 22H22 ISO with zero problems , just get the windows key from inside windows first before installing any other OS).4. Hooked up to my 77" LG OLED and set the rez perfectly and recognized the TV right off. Mint Linux.5. I added a NVME cooler for under $10.00, which is a great idea and keeps the drive cool (see Picture). I've purchased these for myself and my clients and wow what a deal. Fast and compact these are great space savers and have plenty of USB ports. There are a few flavors of this machine and I have tried 3 of them and all function extremely well. I only have one moderately negative comment. The graphic are just a bit shy for high resolution video editing other than that they are wonderful.I'd like to see them make a battery pack for these as I would use this as my laptop with a USB touch screen.

After years of using raspberry PI SBCs as gaming machines, I decided to step up and move onto a real computer. Most notably, because an entire raspberry PI 5 setup is much more expensive than it used to be (with the system, power supply, case, SD card, etc) and because they can’t do much more than they did with previous editions. This GMKTec mini pc is extremely well built. The specs on this are amazing for the price. I’m running Batocera on this and it play systems all the way up to PS3. I use an Xbox one adapter (rather than Bluetooth), and am able to suspend the system and then wake it up using a controller’s X button just like with a real console. This makes it much more practical. The games run fast and smooth, and the unit is far cooler and quieter than I was expecting. Highly recommended.

I am not a gamer, but I decided to buy this PC for one of my workstations primarily for business as I had slowness issues with other devices. I wanted horsepower, but a small form factor which I didn't think would exist until I discovered this machine.I have been blown away by the speed and responsiveness of this device. It is lightning fast and responsive to running many memory intensive business applications. I also have 3 monitors connected to the device since there are 2 HDMI ports and one USB- C port that can be used to support a 3rd monitor. It is definitely worth the price and adding the coupon code makes it even more of a value. There is no bloatware like other PCs out of the box have.If you want a high performing PC at a 1/3 of the cost of other well known devices to handle business applications, then look no further. This hidden gem is definitely worth it!Update 2 months later: This little device is still going strong without issues. I have been pleasantly surprised with its speed and the ability to handle multiple applications at once without performance degradation. This is such a great machine that I give my highest recommendation.

This PC works so amazing, I'm very happy with it. I never had a computer this fast before. Games load up so quick! It can start up or shut down in about ten seconds. My old PC a game I play would take ten minutes to load up and this computer does it in probably 20 seconds. It doesn't get that hot and most of the time it isn't hot at all. I've had it about a month so far and never had any problems or felt frustrated with it. It's very quiet and small and most of the time you can't even hear it.

Tiny, powerful, quiet and good price for what it does. Seems reliable for the short time I've tested it. The External M.2 NVMe SATA PCIe SSD Enclosure - USB-C PCIE 4 worked fine with the GMKTec K1 where as it did not work at all on my older computer. Big Plus. Really worth it.

This is an edited review.My original 2 ⭐ review is below.They contacted me immediately after my review posted and offered support, replacement or refund.I tried the support route initially because I'm in IT and I was curious if the problem could be patched away.NO LUCK with patches. So then I requested a replacement unit.Upon my request they did send my replacement first so that I could swap out the M.2 SSD so I didn't have to start all over again.The new unit worked great for about a week and a half then it to started over heating and locking up.It progressively got worse until it was hard shutting down from over heating and I would have to let it cool down for about 30 minutes before I could restart it.I finally just ordered a Minisforum mini barebones and put the SSD and Ram into it and it's working GREAT!Sorry, don't buy the K4!_________________________________________________________________________Yeah, I got the 32GB + 1TB SSD model and it locks up just browsing the web.No game playing involved.It gets so HOT that you literally can not touch it.Freezes up regularly. I have to pull the power cord just to let it cool down.I keep checking GMKtec's site for a firmware update. None so far.I have used AMD's driver software to try to resolve this and updated those drivers are least 3 times now and it still locks up and over heats.I'm currently looking at new gaming laptops to replace this mess.
