Quality air filter
Great product, installation was simple and easy to do. Quality product i would buy again if they weren’t re-useable

perfect
if looking for extra air displacement and don't want an induction which in my experience can drag hot air as well as cold from engine bay this is way forward and not breaking mot rules as direct fit but allows so much more air , throttle response, I'm shocked coupled with a few other things people would be so worth the money. also you don't change them clean and re oil done. and instead of every service 50,000 miles or more clean. So much better in my opinion. mot take out put original in so no one takes it. but easy to fit .

Good air filters
Reusable air filters, allow more air to pass through than standard ones. Also doesn’t have to be replaced, but requires cleaning and relubing at some point.

Buy it!
Was watching this item for a long time whilst it sat at around £55. Just picked it up on a deal at £41ish and instantly regretted not paying the higher price sooner. All in all, I'm chuffed with this filter. So, if I hammer it, I get worse mpg but better performance. That's fair and to be expected. But for everyday driving, I see massive gains in throttle response, and slight efficiency gains too which was a plesent surprise. It's been a while since I used a K&N filter and although throttle performance was a key driver in this purchase, my primary concern was impact to efficiency (mpg). As I had recently performed a full service on the car, I was able to directly compare a new OEM filter against the K&N. This is in no way scientific but here goes... Having the OEM installed and the drivetrain up to operating temps, I reset the trip computers and performed a 5.5 mile test on a quiet stretch of dual carriage way with the cruise control set to 70mph the entire time. The test included downhill and uphill sections of decent gradients as I wanted to test the engine when coasting as well as under load. After the OEM run, I immediately swapped to the K&N and performed the exact same test, maintaining the same conditions (weather, outside temp, no traffic, electrics such as radio and lights unchanged, everything but slightly less fuel). With the OEM filter, I achieved 52.1mpg With the K&N filter, I achieved 54.7mpg So, not a great improvement. But the main purpose of this test was to ensure no dip in efficiency under everyday commuting. However, this test ignores other benefits gained from having the K&N installed: - Under heavy load the car sounds a little more grunty. It's barely noticeable but it's still an improvement. - Throttle response has vastly improved. This was a big surprise to me. I was expecting some gains in this area but this filter has changed the car completely. I've lost a flat spot at the low end, turbo lag feels pretty much gone and the car generally feels more awake and in touch with what I'm asking of it. This is exactly what I wanted but didn't think was possible from a simple filter swap. Test engine: Vauxhall 2013 2.0CDTI (165)

Fits 2010 Astra 2.0L CDTI
I can confirm this fits Perfectly in a 60 plate (2010) Vauxhall Astra 2.0L CDTI and works great. I will not say it gives a huge performance or MPG boost, but it does help the engine breath better. I have an Auto box and it certainly revs higher now which I assume is the ECU detecting better airflow to the engine as a result of the high flow filter. This results in smoother acceleration as it does not change gear too early but keeps the power flowing.

Quality K&N filter
Another quality K&N filter. Quite pricy for an air filter but when you factor in the fact that they can be cleaned and re used you really get your money’s worth. Don’t buy expecting to see power increases, I do however feel my car is breathing better and I deffinately get a slightly better sound from the turbo in certain gears. Well worth the purchase if you care about looking after your cars engine.

It’s a good air filter....
This air filter made my car go 10000% faster. When I press the fuel peddle I hear the air being sucked into the air filter as it makes the way to the turbo on my Mini van as I zoom off. I added the free sticker to my back glass which added a additional 69,000 horse power to my zafira. It now has a theoretical top speed of 100,000 miles per hour, but I don’t have the nerve to try it!

Does what its meant to
I bought this in April 2016 to go on my Astra GTC 1.4Turbo. Installing was as easy as it should be really, remove the screws take out old filter, put in new filter and screw back shut. The air filter also came with two stickers. A warning do not remove/change filter sticker that I have put on my air box and it also came with a small K&N sticker that I stuck on my splitter and has survived many jet washes, rain and all sorts of weather thrown at it. Overall the air filter does what it needs to do, filter air. I haven't noticed an increase in performance, although I can hear the turbo spin up slightly compared to before but only when you try and listen for it.

I've been using k&n air filters on my vehicles for years. This on is as high quality as any that I have used in the past. Being cleanable and reusable saves money in the long run.
