I bought this to monitor the water level in my Christmas tree stand, and it’s been perfect for that. It alerts me when the water gets low so I can refill it before the tree dries out—no more needles all over the floor. Setup was easy, alerts are reliable, and the LoRa range works great even with the tree not near my router. For a non-traditional use case, it’s worked flawlessly. Simple solution that actually does what it’s supposed to do.

This product is perfect for what I need. I have it in a sealed septic tank in the yard and it gives me piece of mind should my pump failed. I tested it after installing and it worked perfectly. Got an alarm to phone and email. It's nice that the base can sit in my house and plug into router because then I have extended Wifi for the sensor. The sensor is a little ways away from router but no connectivity issues at all. Very strong signal. I have had to contact product support for a question and they got back to me same day. Fantastic service.

Great sensor

This and the D2D connection to the EVO shutoff valve is the way to go. This has already proven itself by immediately shutting off our water at 2am when our sump pump failed.

I've had two of these monitors. both failed within a a couple of weeks. For the first one, the control unit became we, so that's my fault, however the second one the sensor failed in the alarm position o wewithin two weeks. Most YoLink products are very durable and reliable - BUT this one is not reliable. Needs a redesign to make it more durable, especially in damp to wet environments (for which it is advertised for). Still looking for a solution to monitor water level with LoRa connectivity. I clearly don't recommend this product as is not durable or reliable.

I added this to my main condensate line to act as an early warning of the drain slowing down and requiring cleaning. It’s lower that the cutoff float so I can get it before the AC cuts off in the mid of FL summers. Only complaint is that it’s not quite a plug and play substitute for a standard float. It’s a bit bigger, so the float ring is a bit too large for some drains and the shank does not screw into an ss2 cap. I swapped it out with the float ring from a standard overflow switch and sealed it with a metal washer and some rubber washers. It works like a charm.

So easy to set up! We have a three chamber septic tank. The 2nd one has an alarm. The first one has a filter, but no way of telling when that filter is clogged except for a backup of the sewer. Bad design. But, I bought this yolink, dropped the cable down into the tank near the filter a few inches above the level and then routed the cord into a LeMotech Junction Box (B09VDBZFP2). I routed the wire around the lid and set the junction box on top of the lid under a decorative wock cover. This reached the hub in my house easily (Two rooms away). Set up was simple and then adding it to my google home was also easy. Google home doesn't support automations made with the sensor yet but claims that it is coming. Google will announce to the house when the sensor triggers but I'll be depending on the yolink app to notify me if I am not home.

Bought one to put in a water basin to trigger the shutoff of water pump once a certain depth of water is reached. Works great to turn off pump, but I have had to replace the batteries 3 times in the past 6 weeks.

Wow! Love this brand. I already have some door sensors to prevent the kids sneaking out at night, and now added a high level sump pump sensor. Works like a charm, texts and alerts on my phone and the unit itself beeps in the basement. I would definitely recommend this product for many different applications.

This has been a great product for us. As we don’t have an auto filler for the pool, I was able to use this to warn if the pool level was low so we can fill the pool when needed. Using Alexa, we automated a routine to automatically turn the hose on when the water level is low. Also, I put the unit inside an electrical enclosure and drilled out a small hole for the level sensor. This keeps it protected from the elements.
