Bear Motion for iPad Air 3 / iPad Pro 10.5 - Premium Genuine Leather Case for iPad Pro 10.5 with Auto Sleep Wake Function (iPad Air 3 / iPad Pro 10.5)

This is the second Bear Motion case I’ve owned for my iPads. I had a leather case for my iPad 3 that outlasted the device. This case is very much like my older case in terms of the quality and longevity for a reasonable priced protective case. It’s made very well, and it has the sleep feature and a strap to hold the case in one hand when the cover is flat against the back. It also works very well as a stand and has held up very well with the amount of usage the iPad Pro 10.5 inch device receives. Everything lines up correctly as far as the buttons and the camera are concerned, and it comfortable to hold in your hand, either by the strap or just by the edge. The only thing that would improve this case is if there where two elastic tabs to hold the Apple Pencil in place. But I’ve solved that by having a local leather shop sew a similar loop on the edge and it looks factory made. It cost me less than $15.00. The single strap is fine, I just kept catching my pencil on other objects and didn’t want to loose the top! They are easily lost and Apple wants like $40.00 for a replacement one.It wipes clean very easily with a leather cleaning wipe and the device is secured in the case much better than other cases I’ve purchased for this device. I’ve purchased other cases that I absolutely hated after getting them on the device and they generally were more expensive. When I purchased my iPad Pro through Apple, I ordered a case with it that was around $100. It was designed to hold a Bluetooth keyboard and I was extremely disappointed with the case as well as the keyboard. I actually use the keyboard on our Roku now and gave the case to a friend who needed a case that would hold a keyboard. It had a cracked corner from the first drop it ever took and it wasn’t even that far from the floor. It was a plastic housing with a cover you could change the color of if you wanted to. I wanted something to protect my new iPad Pro, not a fashion statement. Although, I’ve had several people ask me what type of case I have on my iPad. I tell them it’s a Bear Motion case and I purchased it on Amazon.I would highly recommend this case to anyone who is planning to buy a iPad Pro or anyone who’s already in need of a case that has worn out already. This case has been dropped, it’s gotten wet, and it’s still as good as the day it was purchased. It’s just a great way to protect your device and it will last a long time! Like I mentioned above, the first Bear Motion case was a brown leather case with a lacing that held the case together and it outlasted the iPad 3.

I have been using my cover for a couple of weeks now and find it a quality product. The fit is perfect. The front and back covers are stiff like a book cover so there is very good protection. The flap closes securely and the iPad turns on and off as the cover opens and closes, just as advertised. It’s too soon to tell how well the leather will hold up but right now I have every reason to think it will last a very long time. I hesitated with my purchase for several days while I read about the many covers available. I wanted leather but it is routinely at least double the price of this one. I kept coming back to this one and finally bought it due to the advertised characteristics and price. I think I made a good decision.Update Oct 31, 2018. I DID MAKE A GOOD DECISION! I’m now pushing a year of use. The fit is still solid. The case still looks new. No cracks in the creases or seams. All holes for camera , switches, etc. are perfect. The only thing that would make me happier is if it were a top grain leather. I believe this is a high quality of bonded leather. It’s still leather according to leather grading scales, just not the top of the hide. But who cares? It looks good and is wearing like iron and costs only $11.19. What a deal!

Fantastic case! I've been a fan of Bear Motion cases for a while now. The price beats out most other cases alone, but the quality of the craftsmanship is incredible. First off, this is a REAL leather case for under $30. I've had several of these for each iPad I've owned, and each has worn beautifully. Real leather, over Bonded leather, will wear nicely. The tab that holds the cover in place is superior to most I have used, and holds securely when folded. There is a loop for a stylus, and it works very well for the Apple Pencil. The strap is nice when you're holding it in your hand and writing, giving that extra sense of security when you're holding it with one hand and using it. The only thing I would change is moving the pen loop as little further towards the center. It's more on the lower part of the case, and therefore, when you've got a pencil in there, the top portion sticks further out than the bottom. This is my only suggestion, and it's a small one. Overall this is a great iPad case, professional in appearance, and will last a very long time.

Notice the space with no leather on the home button side of the iPad.No velvet pouch is provided any more either.There used to be leather there, and the new design feels bad with leather on one side and nothing on the other. After 5 of this, this will be my last unless they bring all the leather back.

I have an old iPad 2, an iPad Air, and a new 10.5” iPad Pro, and all of them are fitted with this same case. It is durable and holds the iPad securely while adding minimal extra bulk to the unit, and allows good access to the controls and ports. The auto shutoff magnets are aligned properly and work well — much better than some other folio cases I have tried. The leather softens up with use and has a quality feel.

This case does NOT properly fit the iPad Pro. If you insert it with the cut out for the home button to have access to the on/off switch and volume button, it covers the camera and opens left to right. It is made well, but just isn’t functional. It’s ok if you don’t mind it not opening like a book and don’t need the camera.

I have 5 iPads from the mini to the new 10.5 Pro and they ALL have Bear Motion Premium cases on them! You won't find a better case anywhere. Their products and customer service are top of the line.
