I bought this just to step back into the world of make up. I usually wear zero make up but once upon a time I wore make up all the time. This kit allows me to practice and get back into the grove with my creativity of make up. The matte lip gloss are all beautiful colors. The concealer surprisingly matches my tone for a blind by. The brushes are super soft and durable. Eyeshadows come in a very of color that are vibrant. The price for the kit is overall great. It's a great first starter kit.

To be brutally honest, I will say this was not the worst buy. Im always on the hunt for cheaper cosmetics because sometimes you find a gem without breaking the bank. A lot of items are actually worth considering it is on the cheap side of makeup sets. It does come in a pretty sturdy black bag with a mirror inside and everything was neatly placed inside with nothing broken. The items I say that are worth it are the liquid lipsticks which are true to color and do feel comfortable as well as the eyebrow pencil (which I would use as a lip liner), eyeshadow, and the liquid eyeshadow. The major downside is the mascara, the brushes and the concealer (if you can even call it that). The mascara which has the smallest wand and zero distribution of color claims to be waterproof but doesn’t even stick to lashes. The brushes are not expected to be high quality going in, but they immediately started to lose the hair bristles right away when I barely took off the plastic sheath. And then the concealer pallet…it’s bad. The actual concealer bottle isn’t that bad, it’s definitely made for someone who’s pretty orange however. But the pallet itself? It’s literally oil mixed with the slightest dash of pigment. One swipe and you see nothing, I have very pale skin and even swatching the darkest shade does little to nothing. These would actually do better on the lip as they have the pigment of a chapstick with an oily texture. Overall, not the worst. You’ll find something worth using and it’s a good way to experiment with what works and what doesn’t without spending too much.
