Fantastic unit, I only received it today and have used it a few times to make videos for my YouTube channel, the tripod legs are very wide and keeps the camera very steady even when it’s windy outside. I definitely recommend this item

The tripod base is stable, the extension feels secure, and it’s a great option for vlogging, fixed shots, or standard camera use. If you’re using a regular camera or filming stationary content, this is a very reliable and well-built accessory. The only reason I’m returning it is specific to my use case. I was hoping to use it with my Insta360 for fully “invisible” selfie stick shots. Because of the tripod base design, the lower portion is visible in 360 footage. That’s not a flaw in the product — it just isn’t designed to be an invisible stick. If you’re not concerned about 360 invisible effects, this is a great, high-quality option.

I really like Ulanzi and have purchased a lot of small ballheads, as well as professional tripods (Treeroot) that I highly recommend. This is definitely not replacing my Treeroot tripod, but I was looking for a lightweight stand for lights, phones and smaller applications and this is a great one. I like the tilt head with fastening knob (much easier than twisting your camera or the entire tripod), and the height is perfect for me. A couple of things to note: it’s really only useful for level ground as there is only a tilt option, and because of the larger base platform (which I like for my purposes), it may not be entirely invisible if you use a 360cam with it.

This is a great tripod. It's very versatile and can be used as a selfie stick or floor mounted tripod. It is very well constructed and very light. It folds down to a convenient size. At full extension it's the perfect height for me when doing a talking head to camera or drive by action shots. Super easy to use once you figure out how to get the legs to open. The design is very contemporary and the knurled ring screws are machined very nicely. Overall I think this is a great value and versatile tripod.
