Heats up fast, has variety of tips and comes with solder and a stand.Worth the price, I use it to solder amateur radio coax fittings.

Everything you need to solder!
This is a great soldering kit, it has everything you need for all your soldering projects! I like that you can control the temperature of the soldering iron, very effective. Great case to hold all your items. For the money, this is the best kit to get!

I used this to solder capacitors successfully
If you're checking reviews, just put it in your cart, you're good with this one.I looked around forever and decided on this one because of the on/off switch and the digital temperature display. Perfect.I'm a complete amateur and used this to replace bulging capacitors on a power supply board. I had no issues at all.Remember to "tin" the tip first by rubbing a layer of the included flux on the tip while it's off and then wrapping a small amount of solder around that tip before heating it to 350. Let the solder melt off and then wipe the excess on the included sponge after wetting and wringing it out.THIS WILL CREATE SMOKE the first time you use it, so do this outdoors. Good luck!

Great for the novice to experts
I searched many soldering irons for a reasonable price with good reviews myself and have been pleased with this one. I did purchase a better stand https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09Z6HVJLY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleMy teen daughter started Jewlery making and this was easy to use with some education and safety guidance. Great for beginners and experts alike.

Okay but get another roll of solder
I bought 10 of these for a soldering class I was organizing. This is an okay kit, however I strongly recommend that you get a roll of 60/40 leaded solder instead of the unspecified alloy that comes with this kit. Not only it requires a pretty high temperature to melt but it's also not wetting very well even with flux. This is going to be very difficult to use for beginners.I ended up having to give people strips of MG Chemicals leaded solder that I have purchased separately, what a difference! In addition, this kit should really include a pair of wire cutters, which is a must have for soldering jobs. They could drop the wire stripper, it's useless. The tweezers are very useful for surface mount components. The desoldering pump works fine. So, due to the terrible solder provided, I can't really recommend this kit - it is OK if you order a roll separately but it kind of defeats the purpose of buying a kit in the first place.

Sodering kit
Soldering pen kit was as described. I haven't used it yet but am visually pleased & hoping that it delivers desired results.

Works good for small hoobyists
So I received this with outer packaging just the plastic envelope from amazon. Which for me is fine less packaging the better. Everything was in the case all neat. I bought it because I had to do some repairs on a console and it had Everything I needed except thinner soldering. Although the soldering wire that came with this would fit most needs. The temp was set to celsius which is fine and what I am used to. I mean I haven't soldered in 20 years. The tips are easy to change out and after a few minutes I was able to change them after I turned the device off. I do like the on/off switch. The flux was great and helped kept the tip clean. The one downside though was the sponge was a little skimpy and their stand was not the greatest. So if you're looking to buy this know you will need those. So I knocked a star off for that. The temp control was nice and I liked being able to slowly increase the temp as needed. I started at 195c since my solder melting point was 183c I think. I eventually worked my way to 300c. The pins I were working with were tiny but I ended up changing the tip twice before I got the size I liked. So with patience going slow and heat tape I got the job done. I do plan on using it for other small hobbies around the house that need a little fixing.
