Was a little tricky to set up via the app but got there in the end. The distance view is quite good, and although there is a 3 second delay, it’s enough to keep a check on my property. It has an alarm and a microphone/speaker so you can deter unwanted visitors. The only downside is the adhesion isn’t strong enough for outdoors. As a renter I don't want to start drilling holes in my outside walls. The battery lasts a while and the night mode is helpful. Sometimes though I find it detects a human when there’s no one there which can be frustrating. Sometimes it doesn’t detect anyone at all, not even me! The mount is good and it looks a nice & neat little piece together, but just beware, because it’s only a holder the camera can be taken out easily.

I've had nothing but trouble from this camera, I get 1 frame of image every 3 seconds if im lucky on both live playback and recorded on memory card, which means I can't see what's happening which is the whole point, the alerts don't work either so if someone does come to where its looking I have no idea unless I check the app manually.Contacted switchbot as there's no issues like signal or settings and they say it's a firmware problem (after suggesting it's a hardware issue) they are aware of that's causing the camera to not work as intended or be fit for purpose...but they still sell them!! They said send it back and i can have 30% of what i paid for it upon its return, horrible service!Don't get one of these for a long time!

If you want a camera that can identify the difference between a bush moving, a dog moving and a person approaching your house then this is the camera you need.It's a cool design being basically a ball that can be held in place by a bracket that it just pushes into to hold in place, as mine was going onto the eaves it was simple to just stick it onto the plastic guarding then place the camera inside, to get it to work quicker i also plugged it in although it does work nicely on battery just with a slightly slower response time.The app is nice and user friendly and very user intuitive, it records each time it sees a movement within the range that you can preset (i have it covering my drive so i can be notified if anyone walks near it)

Unfortunately I found like my other switch Bot products at home I have problems with it maintaining a connection with the hub

This thing is absolutely brilliant. Picture quality (day & night), features, battery life, couldn't say enough good things about it. I will probably get another one in the near future. Thrilled.

Excellent camera but sadly not compatible with Amazon Alexa despite Smartbot customer services and technical support trying to fix the problem, hopefully this problem will be resolved .... will update if and when this happens.UPDATEAs promised SmartBot resolved this problem quicker than they said .... excellent product and customer service, I will be adding more to my home security

Bought this camera after seeing alot of good reviews but wish I hadn'tCamera would connect to WiFi for awhile and then it would disconnect and never connect againThe only way I could get it to reconnect was to reset the device and then go through the registration process again it did this a few times just not good enough.

Have been using this for a while now. Works fine, my only negative would be, I wish the response time for alerts was a little faster.

Hook up was a breeze. Picture is good, but not excellent but serves it's purpose.

Je remercie l'équipe du support en ligne qui m'a suivie Jusqu'à la résolution du problème. La connexion avec ALEXA a été rapide et simple à mettre en œuvre par association de compte et installation de la skill switchot. C'est un plus d'avoir accès à la caméra sur grand écran et au son de la voix. L'image est bien contrastée . L'application permet de personnaliser le mode de surveillances (3 modes de sonnerie différents- 2 projecteurs qui éclairent bien- un son audible au micro pour dialoguer - un mode enregistrement vidéo pour conserver des données). Je recommande ce produit.Ce commentaire sera mis à jour pour les essais de nuitCdt.

Le concept est bon, réglage dans tout les sens très facile. l'autonomie est surprenante sans le panneaux solaire, 5 jours avec env 20 déclenchements jour, elle se recharge aussi en USB C. la qualité de l'image est bonne et modifiable pour être moins gourm

I love Switchbot products and own many of them. The first unit that I received was defective. However, after contacting their fantastic customer service, I was given a new camera that now functions perfectly.It is a great camera with decent features. With its sale price, you can't go wrong with it. You have the option of both wired mode or battery mode. The setup is easy, and installation is simple.The only small issue is that it does not have 24/7 recording; however, it does have good motion detection.Lastly, I want to emphasize how amazing the customer service of Switchbot is. They are kind, empathetic, and prompt.
