These books provide a continual and sequenced supply of comprehension pieces (that are also AFFORDABLE) to use in KS2 guided reading. The pieces are accessible to the children and provide a basis for them to complete quick tasks, that they can then unpick later as a group and share their knowledge. Done weekly, these are really helping my Y4 class understand what is being looked for in reading comprehension tests. The price of £2.75 a book, so with 3 books I got 30+ exercises for under £10, I thought a BARGIN. Consider that other Amazon available sets are £30-£40 for 10 exercises and those have no more marking support than these do... it's a no brainer.I woud say that the teacher booklet is the only way to get the suggested levels and answers, but it's not that hard, nor undesirable to work the answers through with the children and if you DO think you need the teacher book.. it's still a set for under £20...

Does what it says. It's great that it has the answers for all the other sub sequent comprehension books so you only need to buy this booklet once. Also very helpful hints and tips for parents to expand on the topic.

This guide is essential if you are buying the matching pupil comprehension books.The set was recommended to me by a colleague and I use the differentiated papers on a weekly basis in KS2.

I purchased this book to go with the comprehension books that I got for my daughter. It has been extremely useful book. Giving pointers on other things to do and the answers.

I tried using the question books without this book at first, but got this for speed. It is now much easier to mark, but have found a couple of answers dont relate to the questions in the books I have.
