I decided to try my hand at replacing some screens in my porch. I had some filthy ripped and rippled aluminum screens that I was sick of looking at YEAR AFTER YEAR. I bought the wrong size spline at first but was easy to return and repurchase the correct size. I highly recommend getting the dual sided roller tool too. One thing I will mention is that the title of the product indicates tool which suggests it is included but it is NOT. I received the spline only and purchased the roller tool separate. The first screen took a little time to figure out but after that I got in a groove and found a good technique. I consider myself moderately handy at projects and found this project to be very quick and simple. If I knew it was this easy I would have done this a long time ago. If I need more spline to replace other screens in the future I will repurchase FLYZZZ.

DIY project!My dogs love to jump up on the screen doors and now it’s the end of summer it needed to be replaced.I chose to spend the few bucks to replace the screen vs paying $50 to have it professionally done only to have my dogs undo it in a matter of days.It’s not as pretty as a professional job, but I’m sure my dogs will give me ample opportunities to practice my skills!

Used this spline to rescreen a total of 12 windows so far. Have had zero issues. It works well with the pet grade screen and it’s easy to use.

This was much easier to use than I expected.

It's spline. Basically, they're all the same and made of the exact same material and all with the same general quality range.So---why the 4 instead of 5*'s? Because this came bundled and tied in such a way that it takes several minutes to untangle the knot that is created by the simplest of movement opening it up.Shipping this on a elongated spool, even a lightweight recyclable one, would make the final product MUCH easier to use and dispense. The way it's currently packaged is a nightmare to use quickly.
