Great pump for medium-size aquarium or fish pond
I have a large Chinese style fish pond with a small rockery and this is perfect for the job. It pumps the water up to the top of the rocks from where it makes a lovely waterfall back into the pond. The fish seem to like it! Very easy installation, just plug and play really. There are four adaptors and you can choose one depending on the diameter of your hose.Four suction feet allow firm attachment to floor and stable operation.I need to raise water about 1 meter and this is plenty of power for that. Quiet operation and pretty low power consumption which is good as my Chinese in-laws like to keep the pond operating around the clock. Came with a UK plug but can easily use anywhere with an adaptor.Cleaning is easy as well, no tools needed. I will edit review if necessary after a longer period of testing.

Very impressed.
Got this today as a temporary replacement for the return pump for my marine aquarium. Some reviews were saying it’s noisy but I don’t think that’s true. Yes there is a slight noise but let’s face it, it’s a pump it will make a slight noise. I’ve not even got it up full pelt and it’s working great. Bottom line I don’t think I’ll be changing it soon. Very impressed for a great price

A good buy!
This is a small but powerful water pump. It has arrived today, well packaged and with instructions. It’s a lot smaller that I imagined, which is great. We’ll use it for a little waterfall in the garden, but I think it can be used in a fish tank/ pond/ etc. We’ve tested it in a bucket and it worked fine. It’s fully immersible, but the water temperature shouldn’t exceed 35 degrees Celsius. Excellent product!

Good pump but flow control is a gimmick
Purchased this pump specifically cause it has flow control valve.But judging by naked eye there is no noticeable difference between the max and min setting,in short the valve has no effect at least in as much as would matter.As result i will have to purchase additional timer, to deal with the lack of flow control.

Used in dog bowl
I was purchasing this product to use in a bowl of dog water (an old washing up bowl as hes a large labrador) to keep the water moving as my dog refuses to drink from a static bowl and prefers to use the toilet when I flush it! I found this pump was too powerful and bought a smaller version.

The fittings do not make a good fit to the tubing on my garden fountain
I have tested it but not been able to install properly. The fittings do not make a good fit to the tubing on my garden fountain. One is too big the other too small. I shall be seeking a work around later today. Saying this the pump seems OK.

Short cable.
Cable seems to be a little short compared to other electrical fish related items that I have purchased. Having to add an extension to reach my power output.

Good product.
Excellent, not too loud in our outdoor water feature. Not quite as powerful as I thought, and the flow adjustment dial does nothing. But it works well at what it’s meant to do.
