Q: What if my neighbor buys this product. Will mine go off when his mail box is opened ?

I would guess it might depend on how close his box is to your receiver and if there are any obstructions between his box and your receiver. I had to move my own receiver in order to get a good signal within my own house. If your neighbor happened to buy the same device and if there were to be a problem, you might be able to resolve it by placing some kind of barrier between his box and your receiver, something simple near the receiver that blocked his signal but allowed yours to come through because of the angles of all the devices.

Q: Will this work in a cluster type mailbox? Looking for something to use at work to know if the mail has arrived.

It depends on how the mail is placed in the box. The sensor needs to be attached to a door that opens by being hinged at the bottom. If the door is hinged on the side it won't work. If the mail is loaded by opening the entire cluster, or loaded from the rear, it won't work.

Q: How to install the sensor on the mailbox correctly?

Please make sure the arrow is facing outward when installing, as shown in the video

Q: What is the function of "2" button?

Our mailbox alert's “2” button needs to be paired with different sensors to achieve this function (this is the same for similar products on the market).
