I add this to formula and it helps my baby assimilate it easily like breastmilk.

I am making yogurt from various strains of probiotics to increase the CFU count. I got the idea from the book Super Gut.I tried making the signature l reuteri yogurt in the book. I read in a research paper that GOS prebiotics is the best for growing l reuteri bacteria (where as the book recommends inulin). I put in a whole 2 teaspoons of this powder in my half and half and 3 BioGaia Gastrus tablets at 100 degrees F and my 22 ounce jar of yogurt separated at 30 hours and my lid almost over flowed! Basically, I over fermented because the l reuteri grew so well in this powder.This prebiotics is powerful! I will continue to make more batches but only use 1 (included) scoop (about 1/3 teaspoon) of this next time or maybe use less tablets.

So much dairy!!! It really upset my kids stomach who doesn't drink much cows milk. Buyer beware.

The canister is small, shorter than a can of vegetables, but same diameter. The powder fills only half of the container. Meaning, not much powder for the price tag. The scoop is about a 1/4 teaspoon. Serving size is one scoop per day, lasting about 45 days. The white powder is ultra fine, similar to powdered sugar. It's odorless and tasteless. It mixes very well in hot or cold liquids. I personally think it's a rather high-priced supplement, but available should a physician suggest your child needs such a supplement.
