Lovely product .... bit tricky to install
I've never posted a review before, but thought potential buyers may need a little more information on this item. I'm giving it 5 stars based purely on the quality of the product NOT on ease (or otherwise) of fitting. So, here are some pros and cons.ProsVery good looking and sturdy hanging rail. The hook design is practical and means that hooks won't detach when taking off a utensil.Only time will tell, but the finish doesn't look like one that will mark or become pitted over time, even in a kitchen environment. It doesn't jut out too far from the wall - the pillars are only approx 2.8cm.ConsI have to agree with another reviewer, it really does need a template to accurately mark the drill positions on the wall. I bought two and by using my mini spirit level and the rail itself I was able to get the first one on fairly accurately (out by a fraction of a millimetre, but a slight tap with a rubber hammer on the fixing just corrected this enough). HOWEVER, I had a few more issues with the second one. I wanted to line it up underneath the first and my drill marks made using a laser spirit level came out at the perfect distance apart (I'd measured the distance between the fixings on the first rail to help me with the second). Even after drilling, the measurement between the holes was fine. I can only think that the holes must have been drilled at a slight angle because after putting in the fixings they were out by just enough for the rail not to go on. I redrilled a little higher up the wall and the second attempt worked (so make sure you have some filler to hand!).The little holding 'screws' (that go through the pillar) are very fiddly. Keep the floor around your workarea clear as you WILL drop these .... many, many times! I have a good quality ratchet screwdriver and eventually managed to tighten these by holding them in place with the screwdriver and manually twisting the ratchet mechanism close to the screwdriver head. I'm not normally a sweary person, but I have to admit I did swear .... a lot. And I still don't know what the little allen key included in the kit was for as the main screw needed a Phillips head and the holding screw a very small Flat head.I'm a fairly competent DIYer and have quite a decent set of tools, so just something to consider if you are planning on buying this item.

Nice looking but fiddly to fit
I purchased 3 of these towards fitting out a new kitchen. They have a quality, brushed appearance. They are practical for hanging small to medium items, but the stand-out from the wall being modest, larger items will hang against the wall and may risk marking paint or chipping tiles. They are fiddly to fit, with no template supplied so you must measure the drilling distance for the wall pegs very carefully - and if you get this even slightly wrong you will be in a mess! One of my 3 was manufactured slightly 'off' with the wall brackets at a slight radial angle to each other so it wouldn't sit quite square to the wall. The grub screws to tighten the brackets on the pegs and the allen key to achieve this are practically microscopic hence a challenge to tighten. But once in place they look good and do the job intended.

Fabulous
Bought two of these and have various kitchen utensils hanging. Absolutely perfect look great, reasonable price, plenty strong enough for my Stainless steel utensils. I like being able to move the hooks and really like they are attached so don't fall off. Hoping they will be back in stock again soon as I want another one 😀

Solid and top quality
Good heavy weight, solid stainless steel with a great brushed finish. I used it mounted on the underside of a shelf holding saucepans, as I needed to hand two large frying pans, too large to sit on the shelf and this worked out very well. I did have to cut down the rail length to match up the mountings with where I needed them but this proved no problem at all. The end result looks great. I might even add a second one to extend the length of this one, with a mount in the centre holding the ends of two rails at once. You can see in the second photo where I have in mind.Top quality product, worth every penny.Update:I did buy and add in a second one, so impressed with how the first worked out (see third photo). I had to put one post in the drill press and drill right through from side to side with a 10mm titanium coated cobalt bit bought for the purpose, and both rails had to be cut down to length of course, but the end result was worth it.

Space saver.
Arrived within three days. Well packaged. Stainless steel product. It all comes apart. Tiny Alan Key is made of crap material. Get yourself another proper Alan Key for the job. Otherwise easy assembly. Solidly made product, looks nice and shiny in the kitchen. Strong enough to hold "le creuset" pots. Recommended.
