Originally purchased unit had a problem with the timer sticking. Company responsive to inquiries. Eventually, timer failed and company was again responsive and provided a label to return the product. I paid $14 for freight on NEW unit sent to me WHICH WAS IMPROVED. The timer could be set up to 2 hours OR in the ON position.We lost power during Irma for 11 days and the high humidity grew mold in the house. We scrubbed the walls and, when we were out of the house, kept this unit ON. A later mold test showed that the mold was GONE. It also kills palmetto bugs. Follow the directions - don't be in the house with this unit running.

After doing much research on O-Zone cleaners, I found this OP 5000 at a ridiculously low price and I am absolutely amazed how well this little machine works on odors. I moved into an apartment where the previous tenant had pets and also smoked, I used this machine in each room for 20 minutes at a time and could not believe the results,. I have also let my daughter use it for her basement that smelled a little musty and it removed every trace of order. I am still amazed that this little machine can work as well as it does for the cost. Do yourself A favor and purchase an O-Zone cleaner, As long as you follow the directions it is safe and and so easy to use. We love it!

This was a wise purchase... Great product and a great price as well... I am very pleased with the op 5000.. It works wonderfully... Ozone is finally starting to catch on in this country... It is wonderful to deoderize an area without the need for any chemicals... I am so impressed with this machine that I plan on purchasing another just to have as a back up.. My parents were also very impressed with the op 5000 that they will be purchasing one for themselves as well... My sincere thanks to your company for providing a ozone generator to people That's affordable and well worth the cost... I also revived my generator before the scheduled date of delivery and in pristine condition... I will definetly use your company and products again and again and I also highly recommend this company and product to anyone that is debating on the purchase of an ozone generator... My advice to anyone wondering about the safety of ozone is don't be afraid of ozone... It is a wonderful thing to clean the air chemical free and you'll most likely start to feel better in a week or two... Plus it deoderizes so well and is cheaper and healthier than using chemicals

I haven't had to use it except for one job but it did the job very well. After cleaning my used stinky car extremely well I used this to finish the annoying odor. I used it inside the car in various places in small doses, with the a/c running and without. It does smell somewhat strongly of something similar to pool chororine but it dissapates over time and this is how all ozone generators work. Long term or heavy use I'm not sure about but it was cheaper than paying for an odor treatment.It's a good price too, although check the shipping time if you are in need of something within a day or two. I had time becasue I needed to clean my car first....Packaged perfectly.

Servpro did a terrible job cleaning my items after our house fire so this has been extremely useful everytime I open a box of uncleaned items they gave back to me. It would smell up the whole room like burnt fire wood. After I cleaned the items this eliminated the smell on everything, but especially the lingering smell in the room. You must be careful with this tho, plan to keep doors shut and do not enter until cycle is 110% completed. I suggest Google as to how they work because directions in box are extremely vague.

This machine is powerful. I have a storage room converted to bed room that had a musty smell. After using this machine, it smells fresh. The only issue is this: be sure and put towels under the door and seal it the best you can. The ozone smell gets pretty strong. After it airs out, the bad odor is gone.

Unbelievable, this got curry smell out of my apartment. It was under the paint in the walls and doors and in the carpet padding. We tried EVERYTHING, carpet shampooer, enzymatic sprays, febreeze, vinegar, air filter replacements, nothing came close to touching the smell. We were ready to break the lease and move out. Then as a last ditch effort, I bought this, and it cleared a 1000 square foot apartment in about an hour or so, with the smell never to return. We periodically use it to refresh the apartment. This generator will get rid of any smell, anywhere, it is completely amazing. No need for a special service to get rid of smells, just use an ozone generator. I also used it to get rid of sewage smells, deodorized shoes, a freezer, and even a blender jar (anything left in the area the generator is used in will be deodorized). It's applications are endless. You and your pets can't be near it while it's running or for a few hours after.

I've had air cleaners before, but THIS one takes the prize for being the best! It will clean a VERY large space up to 5000 square feet. Look at the title and keep this word in mind, "COMMERCIAL". DO NOT leave animals or people in the area to be cleaned as the Ozone will hurt your lungs. I was dumb enough to fall asleep with it on and woke to almost not being able to breathe - and yes, it comes with that caution statement. GUARANTEED, though, it WILL clean a good sized room. Well worth the price! Oh, and there is a screen on the back that needs to be cleaned every so often - just a reminder!

This really does get rid of odors, we had a mildew problem in our travel trailer and it has gotten rid of it after about 3 or 4 uses. This machine is small enough that we can keep it in the rv in case we ever need it again. We alao used it in the car to get rid of cigarette smoke odor and it worked well for that to.

This sucker is awesome! I had used ozone generators a long time ago but had forgotten how well they work. We've run it all over the house and it knocks out any smells in a hurry. Going to try it in the car this weekend. Don't let the size fool you, this thing puts out a ton of ozone. First night, I ran it for an hour...won't do that again. Maybe 10 to 20 minutes per room from now on!

We used this to remove the strong cigarette smoke odor from a used SUV we purchased. It works very well! First, we moved our vehicle out of the garage. We ran our vehicle's climate control on 'recirculate' mode, and set the device's time to run for 30 minutes. After the OP5000 shut off, we waited another 60 minutes for the ozone to dissipate. We then opened all of the vehicle's windows and let fresh air flow thru for the rest of the day. Happily, we had remarkable success after just one application. Your mileage may vary.

Ozone is excellent for neutralizing odors. Must be used with caution, though. This machine can pump out the ozone into the open air, which is not good for the lungs since it will irritate them. So how do you use this? This device has a timer. Set the timer and leave. Then come back a few hours after the unit shuts off since ozone neutralizes naturally by itself --- just like after a lightning strike. Ozone is used in many devices. CPAP users are using it to disinfect their CPAP machines, tubes and mask. And you can buy ozone devices to do your laundry with ---- many hospitals do. I have one for my washing machine and my wife loves it. We no longer use soap and our clothes smell the best ever without irritating fragrances. As one with skin sensitivities, this is important. And yes, the clothes come out very clean.

I previously gave this product (Ozone Power OP5000) a 5 star review, but after a year of LIGHT use (4 hrs per week), the ozone quite working. I wrote to the company (JR) to make a claim on my '5 Year Warranty' and the person they hire to answer complaints wrote to tell me that you have to remove and clean the ozone plate every two months and replace it every year. Well, I didn't do that. But there is another problem as well: the timer dial has quit working. I wrote and told her that. After a few back-and-forths, the customer help person, Christine, agreed to send me a new unit, which they have done. I read the brochure that came with the new unit. In there (page 7) is stated that the ozone plate should be replaced on average after 10,000 (Ten THOUSAND) hours of use. I used mine for approximately 240 hours before it crapped out (14 months).That is as much as I care to use it, four hours per week (2 hrs on Mondays and 2 hrs on Thursdays - the days I leave home for a few hours). The cost of the product with shipping is approximately $80, so it is not such an awful deal, even if it is only good for one year. But why such a HUGE disparity between what the customer service person told me (clean the plate every 2 months and replace it every year) on the one hand and what the manufacturer writes in the booklet on the other hand ?? And my own actual experience on the third hand. No, wait. I only have two hands.

I made the mistake of putting mothballs and dryer sheets in my little car to keep the mice out when I stored it in a barn for several months. The stink was so strong in the carpet and fabric seats! My wife wouldn't go near the car, even after I tried charcoal, baking soda, and apple cider vinegar. Finally I ordered this unit and with one 2-hour treatment set on the seat, it eliminated 95% of the smell! It's amazing! It took 3 more treatments in the next 2 weeks to totally eliminate all the smell.The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it doesn't seem to work as well in larger spaces, like a hallway or room. But it works GREAT in a smaller space!
