Amara View Replacement Headgear, Amara Headgear Strap, Amara View CPAP Mask Headgear, Standard Size (Without Mask)

Recently purchased this headset strap after the original manufacturer's wore out. I really like this one so far after sleeping with it for the last few nights and certaintly seems to be very good value for the price that you pay for it. The fit and size of the headgear strap is on par with the OEM strap that you either get with your CPAP unit or get as a replacement. No leaks or fit issues detected as the strap seems to fir well, and the velcro also seems to hold up really well compared to the OEM strap. Time will tell on durability, but so far, this is a well functional, and stable headgear strap that will definitely get the job done.

This strap is absolutely better than the original strap. I've used it for over 2 months, and the Velcro is much better.

Husband uses this. It’s a nice snug fit. It keeps mask on in his tossing and turning. It’s a better price than our local medical supply store. Super convenient to have it delivered straight to us!

Just low quality. Can tell it will stretch out quickly. But if you just need a temporary replacement until your insurance lets you get a new one, this will do. Not very comfortable for my big head and face.

Be careful ordering this one! It is not the genuine Amara View strap, but is rather cheaply made and very stiff. I also thought this was the genuine OEM Amara View Headgear. It is very stiff, and not soft like the original ones. It also seems smaller than the OEM items. This may have to do until I can get a genuine replacement Amara Respironics strap as supplied by my insurance, or I'll need to just keep using the one I have that is getting stretched out. I will NOT be ordering again! Very disappointed.

I see some reviews talking about how this isn’t as good as the brand name Respironics head straps. First, I’d like to disagree. This is a fantastic headband that has thicker/wider straps than the standard one. Second, a Respironics headband can cost over $100 unless you’re getting it through insurance, which some people don’t have the luxury of. I also only get one head strap per 6 months with my plan, which is horribly inadequate as they get dirty, stretch, stretch more in the wash, and become borderline unusable after *maybe* 4 months. This is a fantastic strap for the price to fill the gaps between what your insurance will give you or to replace it all together.
