Must have in any pet first aid kit.
Essential when you have 5 big dogs that are hyper and play rough. Stops minor bleeding and cuts quickly. As always this isn't a cure, still see a doctor. It can still bleeding internally, and sealing the wound can be misleading.

Did not stop the licking
Quite expensive for what it does and the amount you get and really didn’t work that great. Our dog broke of a toenail at the quick and would not leave it alone. I know the first two days it was quite painful just by her behavior. After that she kept licking it and making it bleed again. I thought this would stop that but it really didn’t. We had to keep applying it and watch her all the time to stop her from messing with it. Would probably not purchase it again. This is something you would need to have on hand before an injury, but like most of the items for dogs that aren’t for daily use, you have to order it and have it ship form somewhere because none of the stores actually carry it in stock and a lot seem overpriced. This was no exception.

Good to heal, still lickable.
The cream itself, when undisturbed by my messy, licking lab, works wonders. Heals great and fast. The main issue? My lab likes licking it. Not because it tastes good, she's just a licky dog, but it means that the cream is gone if I don't wrap it with gaze and some paper tape to keep her out of it. Might be fine for other dogs, or if it's in a spot they can't lick, but otherwise, just know this does not withstand your dog licking at it for long. I had gotten the cream because it had said that it was fine for dogs to lick at, but if you're looking for some licking cream that won't budge, this won't be it.

Didn’t work for me
Didn’t work for my German shepherd. Cut nail too short and put this on it and held pressure for a while. Didn’t work. Ended up heavily gauze and tape. Barely trimmed her nails but one always bleeds

The Only Thing That Worked!
Our new large 18 mo. golden lab. retriever was recently neutered. 3 weeks in he had been to the vet 3 times. He just keeps dripping blood. We tried the cone, the blow up neck donut, mens shorts, and a million different things to help him heal. This product was the one that finally worked. It worked right away. We were so relieved. Thank you very much.
