I didn't know you could shave with an axe
This is an excellent and very long-lasting axe puck. The 600 grit leaves an ultra-sharp edge which, with only a slight touch on the strop, will easily pop hairs. I have two GB axes and they were restored to a hair-popping yet long-lasting edge with total ease. The puck is small and light, so very easy to throw in the back of a backpack if you're off to collect wood. Highly recommend.

Perfect size and shape for good control, well made although I think it could be a bit cheaper, coming in the duel side rubber holder is another usefull nice touch.

Quality sharpening stones nice and compact, one side is a higher grit than the other as required for sharpening and finishing.

Works very well. Brought my axe back to it's from the factory sharpness very quickly. The stone is expensive but I feel that it will last a very long time.
