The media could not be loaded. It seems some folks have been having issues with their led strips burning out when using this Bluetooth controller. There are many reasons this can occur but the most common is "overvoltage". This controller has no built in voltage regulator so you need to make sure you are using a 5v power source. Any electronics will burn up if you overpower them. I've purchased this controller several times and have tested it on numerous settings for hours at a time and the LEDs have never even so much as broken a sweat. This controller works phenomenal and it's sad that it's getting such a bad rep.Also there was a gentleman talking about it asking for cellular data?? That's not how Bluetooth works. Bluetooth is a short range connection that is direct from device to device(which doesn't require cellular data). Maybe to download the app yes but not to actually use it. It will ask for certain permissions like, microphone (to sync the LEDs with audio or music by using your phone's mic), music and audio(this is very similar to the first permission but the main difference is it syncs it directly from music you have downloaded on your device) and nearby devices (which is essentially Bluetooth and this is necessary for you to be able to pair this controller with your phone). Did not work with the led lights that it says it will work with

Easy to power up via USB connector and connect to an LED strip with the standard 3-pin connector.The app found the device right away.I found the Dynamic scenes a bit limited compared to something like WLED.There are 142 scenes, most are duplicates of the same scene in one of 7 colors.

Worked well for a few hours then stopped. Anded up burning out my lights.

Great little controler

When I would use the app to change the light color or pattern on my LED strip the strip would glitch out and lock up. Also the app feels very much like a garbage spy app. It will not function AT ALL unless you grant it access to your microphone. It claims this is so the strip can pulse with your music, but I do not plan on using that feature and do not want a Chinese app to have unlimited access to the audio happening around my phone. The app also wanted access to cellular data. It would function without cellular unlike the microphone but it would constantly remind you it would like access to cellular. Even if that app had worked (which it didn't) I would have hated having it installed on my phone. I am very glad I returned this product and am much happier with the replacement I bought.

Used this because of its compact size to build a set of lights for my bike wheels. Works well and once you figure out the app there are a lot of amazing options for different colors and effects.
