Does What It Should
So far I've used this incubator to hatch bantam chickens and coturnix quail. 7/7 bantam chicks hatched without issue, no problems. 12/12 quail chicks hatched BUT I ended up doing an assisted hatch for 2 because the eggs rolled and got stuck on the lip. The angle they got stuck at prevented them from rotating, so they basically punched a big hole where they pipped and dried out the membrane (they're supposed to go horizontally while punching holes in the shell then push up hard to tear the membrane once they go all the way around). Next time I'll place something to keep the eggs in the center so the late hatchers don't get shoved into the lip again. It was easy to set up and easy to clean/sanitize, which are both major pluses for me. It is also very small, so you can put it a lot of places where larger incubators simply won't fit (the main reason I bought it). Some minor issues: Incubator runs slightly cooler than the temp is set at even with the styrofoam cover for insulation. Not a big deal but you will have to set it slightly higher to get your desired temperature. All my chicks hatched right on time, which meant the incubator held temp. well and wasn't too cool even though I didn't fiddle with it once I got it set. I do keep the room they're in around 75-80F, so you may have to bump it up more than a degree to get it where you need it. The turner worked great for the chicken eggs but for quail eggs it was fair. It limits how many you can put in and jostles them around pretty roughly. For the future I'll probably get a 3D printed quail turner off ebay or etsy to increase the number of eggs I can put in and make sure they don't get cracked on accident. Water feeder is a great idea that doesn't work well in execution. Just manually add a little water when needed via the tube; it only takes a minute. You should be checking your temp./humidity via a separate and accurate gauge in the incubator anyway to make sure there aren't any problems. I dry hatch so I didn't add any water until lockdown, and it was easy to add a bit of water to slowly bump the humidity up to where I needed it. Once the humidity was raised, it stayed up pretty well. Overall I'm pretty impressed. Can't speak to the durability or longevity of the unit, but short term it does what its supposed to: it hatches the eggs.

Perfect start up incubator
For a cheap little incubator, it did a great job. Only did two batches with more to come this hatching season. I just set it and forget it. In a sense. It doesn't give a humidity reading, but it kept a steady temperature and my room is always cold. I give it credit for keeping up without a hiccup. It does rotate on its own about every hour I believe, or every other. I can't remember. I don't really recommend hatching a full dozen at once. The birds run out of room real quick. I did eight for the second batch and it was much better.

Dissappointing
I bought this incubator for my classroom. Directions were very minimal and not well written but it works and turns on. It does not however turn the eggs with 12 chicken eggs in it as advertised. I had to remove 3 eggs so it would turn. The motor just isn't powerful enough to turn all 12 eggs. I would have sent it back but we only have a few weeks of school left and I needed to start the incubation process today. I am now stuck with a faulty product.

Super Easy to Use!!
I bought this not wanting to invest an arm and a leg in an incubator with low expectations. But this thing is awesome. It had 100% hatch rate and I only filled the bottle 3 times during the 21 days. You set it to 100 and keep the bottle feeding water and it's that easy. Highly pleased. Highly recommended!

Best for the price!
I recently got two geese eggs and needed a way to incubate them with the best chance of hatching. I looked and looked but all the incubators that I used as a kid were now expensive. I resorted to Amazon and found this one. Not only was the price cheaper than other ones but it had a %15 coupon! I received it and immediately plugged it in. And the settings were easy to mess with and it kept the temperature like it was supposed to. Now the water reservoir didn’t work as planned because of gravity, but if you lift the reservoir the water will go into the incubator. So easy solution but not practical for people that can’t pay attention to their eggs every day. And if you plan to hatch bigger eggs like geese you must rotate them yourself. Other than this it did it’s jobs!

Pleasantly suprised
I hatched a couple chicks in this incubator. I kept the rotator in until one hatched, and then removed it so the baby could stay in while the others were waiting to hatch. It works well. It’s very simple. I put a little digital thermometer in there to compare temps. It was close enough. It was affordable and it worked. I’m happy with it.

Price is reflection of quality
I’ve had this for 4 months, first round hatched great. But then rest have not and now it won’t even turn.

I had some issues with my first unit and their support was exceptional and looked after me. It's rare to see this kind of customer care any more.

The first hatch worked very well and I was impressed. That all changed when I went to do my second hatch. The turner no longer works. It tries, but it’s like it doesn’t have enough power to move the insert. I reached out to the manufacturer about a month ago as I was willing to pay for additional parts to get it working again, and I have had no response. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your money.

Just used this incubator for a succesful hatch. 8 out of 12 eggs developed and so far 6 chicks hatched. First issue I had was adjusting the humidity. There is no way to minimize the surface area of the water. There is one water compartment. This made my humidity level quite high for the first 18 days. (My hygrometer read 65-75 most days)- then when hatching began the humidity was up to 82 at times. The second issue was the turner stopped working when the eggs got a bit heavier. Even after I took out the 4 undeveloped eggs the turner wouldn’t work so I had to open the incubator to turn them. Third- there is no vent to open. Condensation accumulated on the clear dome for the entirety of the incubation. Other than those issues, the temp was pretty accurate- half a degree off or so ( I had to use the styrofoam to keep the temp at the required level) I’m pleased with my hatch rate even if the last two don’t hatch. I do feel that I would be happier with something bigger with more controls but for a starter incubator, this one has served me well.

Is this the best incubator out there… absolutely not. The temperatures are off, and the humidity will stay high if you keep the waterer attached. Buy a hydrometer separate to monitor both temp and humidity. Add water only when necessary. I had a 50% hatch rate with this incubator.

If you buy your own thermometer and hygrometer, follow the right temperatures, this incubator is perfect for small batch of and bird eggs
