Does what it says on the tin
It's not too loud and works as advertised. It's funny how the manual suggests how these can be used on people. I wonder how many people bought it for that reason.

Works for Us
VOLUME: I have a 5 month old Jackahua and this appears to be perfect for us. It is a softer click, good for inside an apartment or a small courtyard. I would not recommend it for a larger dog park or in an environment with competing noises. HOLDING: I included a pic of how I hold it, as some reviewers reported difficulty. Strap on middle finger, press thumb straight down towards middle finger. This is my arthritic hand and it works well. INSTRUCTIONS: DO follow the enclosed instructions; they are competent and helpful. Do NOT just run around clicking this AT your dog or you will be here whining that it doesn't work. The fault will be yours. REVIEWS: I looked at so many different clickers, reading the reviews, comparing prices, and I'm glad I decided on this one. PROGRESS: Since we just got it today, we are simply working on "association". I'm keeping it next to me with a dish of crumbled treats. When she's not paying attention to me, I'll click and toss her a crumb. She's a little leery of the strange noise, but she really loves these treats (Blue Buffalo), so I'm aiming for a little association practice a few times a day until she gets it into her little doggy brain than the sound means tasty thing. When she's perfectly comfortable with that, we'll move on to "touch", etc.

A good dog clicker but hard to click
(I'm a woman, so I don't have man strength in my hands.) While this clicker does work for dog training, it is actually a bit hard to click on the button. It will go down but it does (mine anyway) require a bit of strength and to push on it a certain way. It does free up my hand so that I can also hold a leash or if I needed my hands partially free for anything. The green loop on the back is a little bit too loose but it's not a big deal. It is good deal for the money but I would get a different brand if I had to get another one.

Earned multiple stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
VALUE. Nil. Happened twice. Amazon was nice to send me a replacement for the first one, without requiring me to send back the junk one. Tricked me into believing this product is not garbage DURABILITY. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I pressed the clicker button with two hands. It still didn't click... Surprisingly, the product didn't break. So, it's very durable TIME WASTING. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have to send back the second one to get a refund. Definitely wasted my time

Solid, Easy-to-Use Clicker with a Few Minor Drawbacks
I’ve been using the PetSafe Clik-R Training Tool for a little while now, and overall it’s a solid, reliable clicker with a few minor drawbacks. On the positive side, the ergonomic design and finger band are actually very handy. It sits securely in my hand, so I’m not fumbling with it during training sessions or worrying about dropping it. The click sound is clear and consistent, which makes it easy for my pet to associate the sound with a reward. It’s also small and lightweight, so it’s easy to toss in a pocket or bag and bring along on walks or trips. In terms of performance, it works well for basic positive reinforcement training. My pet caught on quickly, and the clicker has held up fine with regular daily use. I also appreciate that PetSafe is a well-known brand with a long history in the pet industry, which gives me a bit more confidence in the product. That said, there are a few things that keep it from being perfect for me. The click is a little louder/sharper than I expected, which might be a bit much for very noise-sensitive pets or for use in very quiet environments. Also, while the finger band is a nice idea, it may feel a bit tight or awkward depending on your hand size, and it’s not adjustable. It’s a simple tool, so don’t expect any extra features beyond the basic click function. Overall, this is a good, straightforward training clicker that does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking for an easy-to-use, compact clicker from a reputable brand, this is a solid choice—just be aware of the slightly loud click and the fit of the finger band.

A must for training
Love love love! This clicker is great for training. I bought 2 just in case I lost one. I keep one in my training treat bag and one by the front door. Fits nicely around the finger, is comfortable and works well. I’ve been using it to help train my 1 year old lab and it has worked wonders not only for her but also my 11 year old lab. He picked up real quick that once he hears that clicker, a treat is coming his way (even if he wasn’t the one in training, he still gets a treat because you HAVE to spoil them and give them each a treat)

Great For Voice Actors As A Waveform Marker
Okay so I'll be honest, I don't use this dog clicker as it's intended, I use it for creating a visual cue in my work as I'm a voice actor and have to edit certain lines certain ways, and this dog clicker has been the one consistent thing in my booth with every upgrade as it has a nice solid click, that creates a very distinctive waveform that I can easily spot throughout the sea of waveforms that is my voice lines. It's comfortable to hold, and is simple to click, well as long as you're holding it right, trying to click it when it's sitting on a table or such isn't exactly easy XD It's small enough to not be in the way, but big enough I can get a good grip on it and not drop it when I'm trying to grab it quickly. And well of course the little finger band helps with that too, but I typically don't hold it while recording so as to not risk wacking it on something in my booth if I get too theatrical. I've also had this clicker for a year and a half as of writing this, and despite being under near-constant use, it works just as well and is in just as good condition as when I first got it. So the tldr is, great for voice actors, provides a solid waveform, fits well in my hand, and lasts excellently under prolonged use.

For me I think the click is very quiet compared to my previous clickers but still does the job.

This is the second one of these I purchase, as a backup, because I love these so much. A bit more expensive than the cheaper alternatives, but much higher quality. Fits nicely on finger, the clicker feels sturdy, it would be difficult to accidentally press the button. Easily understood by my Shih-Tzu, Guinea pigs and Parrotlet!
