Excellent buy. Works great perfect for my needs
I needed a boom pole that was light-ish and not too big. Reviews of micro poles mentioned how flimsy some were or had other issues. On arrival this seemed a bit bigger than needed BUT it has turned out perfect. 3 sections mean it is sturdier. Its not too heavy and 2 hand grips are just right. Its got a nice balance to it and for what I need ot it just right. Being Neewer it is good quality (I have several Neewer items) Orher plus points: screw sockets both end, packet with screw adaptors, good cable clips. Glad I paid a bit more to get a quality product that is perfect for my needs.

I've changed my set-up and this is perfect
I got fed up with booming a mic with a tall mic stand. The arm would constantly slip over time. So, I moved to a C Stang, boom pole holder, and this boom pole. Therefore, as I'm not goig to be hand-booming, I don't need a super-lightweight pole. But this one is light and very sturdy. It opens and closes and adjusts smoothlu and the handle has a pleasant grip if I ever do want to hand boom. And as a bonus, there are three (I think) cable ties that are really nice quality. The quality of the thread is really high too - so i have no fear of damaging the thread on this or my mic holder. There is nothing in this that I can complain of.

Very good value for the price
A little heavier than my other carbon boom pole, but a very tidy piece of kit, with included straps for wires and thread adaptersThis is a great starter pole for beginners or for those more experienced who need something rugged and sturdy.I purchased this for a charity that makes videos and runs media clubs.. our volunteers found this comfortable and easy to use from those with no experience, through to professionals, we all agreed this was good value for money.

VERY good value
Neweer is always hit and miss with their product quality, but you can be rest assured this is "one of the really good ones" that they have on offer.Very good build quality, good price, great features with built in thread on bottom of pole handle for 3/8s thread for sand bag hook

Amazing value for money boom pole
Amazed how solid the build and quality are for the price of £30. I used it to boom a Sennheiser 416 in a Rode blimp and had no issues at all. Perfect if you're on a budget or just starting out!!

Great value for money, but not perfect
For the money, this is a no brainer. If you want a boom pole, this is one. Nice and long too.The only issue I have had so far is that bits you tighten to hold the extensions in place can unscrew all the way and come off, and then it's tricky to get the threads to line up again to get it back on.Basically, buy this pole, but only loosen the grips as much as you need to extend. And tell that to your boom op too!

Great, especially for the price.
Really impressed for the price. Works nicely and is lightweight. Comes with ties to keep your mic cable attached which is great. Nicely built.

Great product. Very sturdy and ruined with price
Great product. Very sturdy and ruined with price. The 1/4 to 3/8 and 5/8 adapters are included! They are in a small pocket at the top part of the carry case. I also initially thought it was missing the adapters, but was delighted to find them. Full recommendation!
