Great product to turn your car into a wireless option for Apple CarPlay, device easy to setup and connects within seconds of starting ignition. No problems so far! Recommended.

Very pleased with my Carlinkit 4.0It connected easily, and works well automatically loading Carplay with my iphone still in my pocket. It is much more convenient than wired Carplay.I still use my cable with a 12V socket USB adaptor if I need to keep my iphone charged, but that is only for longer journeys. So far the Carlinkit has connected successfully every time with no dropouts, which if anything seems more robust than my wired connection. (My wired connection occasionally failed and wouldn't work without stopping and completely power cycling my car).There is a very slight lag in responsiveness to button pushes (on screen and steering wheel) compared to wired but I estimate much less than half a second so not an issue for me. Google Maps seems fully responsive and is accurately tracking my location on routes.My only minor annoyance is the device boot up screen which displays for a few seconds at the start of each journey as the Carlinkit 4.0 connects. I would prefer if this could be hidden even if it meant a blank screen for few seconds, but the Carlinkit support team inform me it can't be bypassed. However the good news is that they respond to such queries very quickly and so I conclude customer service seems excellent so far.It is early days but so far I am very pleased. I was tempted to give 5 stars but there is always room for improvement in future versions (even less lag to button pushes and less annoying boot up screen). However these are very minor so overall I am happy to award at least 4 stars.

Don't buy!Like everyone who buys this product looks great works perfect for first 3 months or so then it needs updates.The unit drops signal and very annoying every 20 seconds especially listening to music. Maps just hang for 5 seconds.It dis connects for no reason then reconnects after a few seconds.Drives me mad.I just want a unit that works.Updates don't work and as I found updates only seem to properly work using an Apple phone not Android.Mines going back after 5 monthsNot impressed for only 5 months of use.!

The media could not be loaded.  Running a Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB with wired only CarPlay/Android Auto and wanted it to be wireless.Bought the Carlink4 not expecting much and was totally surprised by how flawlessly it works !Well worth the purchase no more wires!! 😁

Good wireless dongle, works really well for iPhone, but flawed on android.They have tunnelled android auto through CarPlay, so it displays as a CarPlay device on your nav system.Unfortunately this opens up a whole world of pain if you have a widescreen nav, mine is widescreen, and the result ion was impossible to use, often broken pixels, and incredibly pixelated resolution.I’ve now moved it to an iPhone only situation which works great.

Bought this based in other reviews and high price tag believing it to be of higher quality. Started off ok and felt nice to connect while phone still in pocket. But I drive all day everyday and that’s where it falls short. It struggles to handle navigation such as Google maps while being in the phone for longer than 10 minutes. It just freezes or drops out and I almost had accidents trying to reconnected which is ironic. The worst thing it did was crash my Mercedes native Bluetooth module preventing any sound from calls. However, after pulling into a station to stop and restart the car, along with re-Bluetooth pairing my car was ok. I suspect this is ok for weekend drivers who make the odd short call or Google map journey. Apple music worked flawlessly to be fair if that’s all you’re after.

Works very well with Vauxhall Grandland x 2019. Simple to set up.

Does what it says BUT very slow response to touchscreen. Also connects as Apple Carplay even though my phone is Android. Just a display issue. Otherwise good value.
