Elixir 12302 Strings Electric Guitar Strings w NANOWEB Coating, Baritone (.012-.068)

I've been using Elixir for a number of years, and whilst they are not the cheapest, you get what you pay for, I gig 2-3 times a week and these last me a month of gigs, easily, other brands I'm lucky to get a gig and half out of them, mainly due to the acidity of my skin, I can kill a set of strings in a couple of hours. they hold tune, stretch in quickly, and in my opinion have a great tone that lasts and lasts. I use them on all my electrics now and have played on 10-46 since I was 15, tension is perfect for me, Give them a whirl nothing to lose her on Amazon, if you don't like them at least you tried...

I’d estimate I play guitar 20-30 hours a week, practicing at home, playing in gigs and concerts, general use in changing weather conditions, etc, and these strings have never once cocked up on me. They keep their tone, soft feel, tuning stability, and don’t corrode even after many months of use without changing them. The price is brilliant for the longevity and quality they provide, and I can’t imagine ever switching from Elixir’s “nanoweb” strings. I honestly love ‘em

I use these on 5 guitars (and also the acoustic versions too). With so many guitars changing strings every few weeks is impractical… these can last over a month… great tone and feel too!

Good strings, although in the last 12 months I've found they're not lasting as long as they used to.Either way, i purchased this 3-pack for £20 at the end of december 2017, and here we are just over 2 months later at almost £31 - A bit excessive!

Good product.

I have mildly fallen in love with these strings after years of switching between brands and never quite feeling right for my playing style. I play a lot of fast and aggressive Metal & Hardcore, and these things just punch straight through and give loads of options with high mids and highs, without being too shrill.The nanoweb coating gives an extremely fast, and to begin with slippery, feel (this took some getting used to but MAN they are good after breaking in). I would say for me the G string on the 10/52 set feels like a slightly too thick gauge, but that could just be personal preference.In terms of longevity- I play averagely about 2-4 hours a day, and this first set lasted me about 8 weeks (approx 170 hours) before the webbing started to fray at the picking end (this may also be attributed to my heavy picking hand). Throughout all of this, I noticed little gunk or corrosion on the strings, and the brightness only really started to roll off after about 5-6 weeks.The only thing to bare in mind, as a few other people have mentioned in reviews, is that my E string snapped at the bridge (tune-o-matic). I don't switch between tunings TOO often, but I feel this string suffered more from switching between E and drop D.Overall, for a little more money, I am going to continue running these strings unless I find something even better.

Work great and still lasting

I have been using these strings for over a decade now. I am one of those players who quickly wears out standard strings due to whatever junk is coming out of my fingers. It only takes one gig to corrode them into becoming noticeably darker and after a couple days they are prone to breaking. But not these strings. I can easily get a month or more out of a set playimg regularly and they maintain the initial brightness and tone the entire time. I only need to change them after they have begun to physically wear down and develop intonation issues.Seriously, they play great, feel great, and sound great. They may cost about twice as much as a standard set but, if you are like me and find yourself corroding strings quickly, they will easily last you 10x as long making them an outstanding value.

Diese Saiten mag ich, sie rosten nicht und können sehr lange auf der Gitarre bleiben. Sie haben nur einen Fehler, der mich persönlich nicht so sehr stört, aber es ist gut zu wissen. Bei hartem Spiel kommt es an den Stellen, wo das Plektrum die Saite berührt, zu einer Ablösung der Schicht. Das beeinträchtigt weder den Klang noch das Spiel, es sieht nur nicht schön aus. Wenn Sie also hart spielen, brauchen Sie wahrscheinlich andere Saiten. Für mich sind diese Saiten jedoch eine Rettung, meine Hände schwitzen und normale Saiten rosten innerhalb eines Monats und ruinieren meine Finger.
