Made great good quality. A little hard to flatten. I left it out in the sun and still had to put heavy objects on the corners.

Mat unfurled relatively easily (put some heavy stuff on it to help flatten it). It probably won't last forever, but it was certainly worth the low price.

Time will tell if it reduces chair marks on the carpet. I am hopeful it will.

I have yet to succeed in completely unrolling this thing. I am a very large strong man and I have owned many of these but I have never encountered anything like this. Other reviews mentioned this is difficult to unroll, I should have taken them more seriously. The only thing I can imagine is the manufacturer is rolling these things up hot out of the mold and they are cooling in that shape. I got it mostly unrolled with weights on it except for about the last revolution at the center of the roll which is fighting me to no end. I am going to take a break and have at it again in a little while. I've never had one of these where I had to take a rest before getting it completely unrolled. There is something seriously wrong with their manufacturing process...

I got this in hopes it would be suitable for my carpeted desk area. Unfortunately the sides stick up when it’s the chair and you causing the wheels of the chair to get stuck when sliding off of the mat. I tried it on hardwood and it works amazing! Just be cautious when using it on plush carpet as the side will bow up

I had a need to set up a computer in a room with a fragile rug. A chair running back and forth over the rug would do serious damage. This gives perfect protection. Can't ask for more.

We purchased this mat to go on carpet in our home office. It comes rolled up and was difficult to get flat. Once we were able to use it, it was still hard to roll on when on carpet. It slides around as you roll on it. There isn’t a huge difference between using this or just using our carpet. I will continue to use hoping it will protect our carpet from wearing out.

The mat is good quality. It's almost transparent on the hardwood floor which I liked. I checked the local price for a similar mat and this is just half of the price.

It does the job well. Only downside is that is hard to unroll and will take some time to flatten

I bought this as I was wearing the carpet where I sit to my computer, which I use a lot.It arrived packed flat, so it sat on the floor really well, no curves from being rolled up for carriage. To my mind, it should do a good job of protecting the carpet as it seems to be of substantial construction. I have marked it down for 'sheerness' as there are small teeth on the underside, which are necessary to hold the mat in position on the carpet, which do not allow my chair to roll smoothly over the mat.This is a very small gripe about a substantial and well made product.
