Update January 2026 - I ordered more, and bought the regular white filters instead of the higher quality yellow ones. These are definitely the best brand to buy. The charcoal filter came slap full.. they don’t cheap out on the charcoal at all, whether you guys the more expensive yellow hepa filter or their cheaper white ones. They are great. Original review - I’m really impressed w/ the quality of these filters. I run multiple 5500-2 Winix units in my home on full power all day, every day. There is never a time that they aren’t running. I’ve ordered the genuine Winix oem filter for about $50 a piece b/c I didn’t trust the other ones that are listed on Amazon. That $50 per filter is just too pricey, especially when running multiple units around the clock so I took a chance w/ these. I’ve attached a photo of the charcoal filter that I ordered directly from Winix. It is a genuine Winix filter. The honeycombs are half full, and some even less than half full. I also attached a picture of the replacement filter that I just received and I am very impressed with how full the honeycombs are. I purchased the 2 pack for like $35 dollars. Both charcoal filters are chock full. I still have the original charcoal filters that came with some of the units I have when they were brand new and they were never this full. The quality of the hepa filter is very good too. Both the charcoal filter and the hepa filters are exactly the same size as the genuine filters. I saw reviews on many of the Amazon listings for replacements where ppl said the filters were too small by a half inch or an inch. That’s unacceptable to me because the air will take the path of least resistance so that small deviation will cause a big issue. I was very pleased to see these filters are exactly the right size. I searched all over Amazon and read all the reviews for all the replacements available for this unit before I finally settled on these. I hope this review helps someone make their decision. It’s hard to trust reviews on here sometimes, especially the vine program reviewers who receive the product in exchange for their feedback lol. Maybe I’m just jealous I don’t get to participate in that program 😅

Excellent, a perfect fit. My only tiny quibble, and the reason I'm not giving it five stars, is that unlike the original HEPA filters I had that came with a unit, on top of that filter it had an arrow, which pointed to the airflow direction you want to install them with. These filters have no such arrow, so if that's not important, it makes me wonder why the originals had that arrow and these don't, it would be great if the manufacturer would answer this question, but other than that, they seem to be good quality.

This is NOT the filter for 5510 or 5520 as it says in the description. Huge waste of money as I purchased when I bought the units and am just not trying to change the filters.

I just tried this out as I had them on hand for when I needed to change my filters. disappointed
