Turned out nice
I bought this with frame already attached . So much easier than diy frame . All fine . Positioned central .The colours are so off from the advert picture - I changed a couple . Big Ben green ! And the lighting on the building , bright brassy yellow . No no .Printed paper with image / numbers is a godsend . So many tiny parts , impossible not to cover some of the adjacent numbers . I referred to it a lot , especially at the end .A few of the numbers impossible to read , even with the magnifying glass included ( nice touch ) .Lots of the detail in the advert photo just not on the canvas print . The flag on the right - I didn’t even realise was on there until I referred back to the photo ! The same with the flowers near the phone box . I added some detail myself and tried to copy the flag , painting over what I’d already done following the guide .I changed some of the sky colour . A dull brownish grey just made the whole thing look dull and wishy washy so I made it a lighter grey.Ran out of the dark grey - luckily had some left over from another painting .Overall I like it , with the edits , from a distance it looks pretty cool .

It May Prove a Challenge
This was one of my Lockdown 1 projects and the first time I had tackled painting by numbers since I was a small child more than 50 years ago. On one level it was a very satisfying project and absorbing. However, I quickly discovered that it was not without challenges. A surprising number of segments were devoid of numbers and ultimately, I had to abandon the project as the volume of paint supplied proved insufficient. Undeterred, in Lockdown 2 I bought a second painting by numbers, in the same price bracket, but by a different manufacturer. What a contrast, all the segments were clearly numbered, there was an abundance of paint (multiple pots for dominant colours) and application of paint was much smoother. On completion, there was sufficient residual paint to enable me to return and complete the first one; although, I did have to adopt a “freestyle” approach for the many unmarked segments. I will continue with my new hobby but I won’t be buying this particular manufacturer’s products again.

Perfect way to beat the boredom
I bought this is as a way to alleviate my boredom while I'm social distancing (instead of studying for my degree, woops). I thought this would be difficult, but it's actually not!! The paintbrushes are ok and I found that adding water to the paint really helps (I'm not sure if the paint is oil or water based, but it didn't split when I added the water and it dried really well). It is very time consuming, which is exactly what I hope for. The only negative I have is that the canvas came folded, so has creases in it. I could have put books on it to straighten it out but I'm lazy and it still turned out find. Would definite recommend for anyone who is trying to find things to do while Rona is still knocking around

Do not let the rather dark picture put you off the actual painting is much better than the picture
Very good paints and brushesNot easy to do may not be suitable for young children

Not enough paints
Love paint by numbers but some of the paints ran out half way through so can’t finish my painting !!!

Hard painting
After I did a different painting I felt in love with painting by numbers, but this specific one is more stressing me out than relaxing as the numbers are too small and you cannot know with what colour to paint. The small brush is too big for this particular painting. I did a small part of mine and I couldn’t continue. For people with more time and great nerves probably is good but for me not a great fit
