Alessi La Stanza Dello Scirocco Fruit Basket Silver 10-3/4-Inch

I love Alessi products because they have great design and are well made. The Stanza Dello Scirocco fruit bowl is no exception. It looks like a piece of art. Pros: Function: It holds a lot of fruit. See attached photo (note: the oranges are small mandarins, not full size). Form: Beautiful mirror finish. Sturdy and well made. In the attached photos it's hard to see the mirror finish because the counter top pattern is reflected onto the bowl, but its a flawless finish. Shipping/Delivery: Estimated shipping was about three and half weeks, but I received it within 10 days of purchase. Price: Amazon had the best price I could find for the stainless steel mirror finish version of this bowl. Cons: None. I've only had this for a couple of weeks - will update the review if I experience any in the future.

Creative and imaginative design. Architectural abstract aspect. High quality stainless steel. Found only one slight flaw in the finish. It is a display piece, but functional. Lucky to find at a reduced price. At full price I might have given 4+*. Care: Hand wash only or soft stainless steel polish.

Absolutely love my fruit bowl! I have had it for over 3 months now and it has been sturdy and hasn't rusted in anyway. It makes the countertop look extra stylish. It holds alot of fruits. Definitely a statement piece!

I absolutely love this fruit basket. The design is gorgeous and the steel is top quality. We bought it for our boat, and because things get rusty pretty quickly when around salty water and air, we needed a good quality steel bowl, however, it’s way smaller than I had expected. I know, I know, I should have checked the specs closely, however, I really wish they would make one twice as big.

This Alessi bowl is a real classic and a great conversation piece or gift. We love it but have also found it to be a great hostess gift. As a well-known modern piece of kitchen art, this is a classic that most home chefs will love.

Styling is nice, but since it has a mirror like finish, it is a finger print magnet and is time consuming to clean since one has to clean tile by tile, perhaps a matte finish would be best

It is what it is. You get what you pay for. If you want something nice that you don't have to replace for a long while. Get it. Beautiful piece. Regardless of cost.
