This mask is not thin and floppy, it's nice and sturdy. The elastic that slips over your head is adjustable, which is nice. This mask is going to be too big for smaller children, because the circumference of the mask opening is too big. I would say it's pre-teen size. My 11-year-old is almost big enough to wear it properly.

If it wasn't for my son being super disappointed if I returned this mask, I would. So instead, I just spent 2 hours cleaning the thing from ALL of the yellow stains (still didn't get it all). I got tired of it. It's ridiculous that they would charge $20 for this thing, and it doesn't even come with paint! It's not even cut evenly, especially around the jaw, I had to tape it together to get the pictures. My wife ordered it because our son just wouldn't stop about wanting one (not this one "In particular" ) so she just got the first deal on one she came across. I would suggest you spend a little extra and at least get one with some paint. They could at least put sticky film on it so it doesn't yellow, instead of just putting it in a cheap plastic bag. Or just buy one that's already Painted, that I just noticed and then came back to update review, crazy how the one that isn't painted costs more than the ones that are painted!!

My daughter loves decorating this mask but we wish the mouth was easier to move

It’s a rubber mask. It’s an ok mask but does not fit children.

Arrived crooked and it’s hard to make it straight again, heavy on little kids faces

This item is advertised as exactly the same as the pre-painted masks but it is NOT hard plastic, it is floppy cheaper plastic / rubber like material. Will not be purchasing through this company anymore.
