Made Well. Works Well.
Well made unit. Has convenient blue light showing activation. Has audible click when activating. I mounted it in my 2021 Jeep Compass with double-sided Scotch tape as shown. Initially, it connects to my IPhone via cable. When activated, my vehicle automatically switches to CARPLAY or I can switch back to the original vehicle screen while it remains connected. Just a small fix so I don't have to connect or disconnect my IPhone all the time...just tap the switch. Next, I will connect this switch to a multimedia android box instead of the IPhone. The IPhone Carplay association then becomes wireless on the screen. SInce this switch passes power and data I expect it will work exactly as intended. Switch ON - android multimedia box using IPhone personal hotspot and wireless carplay, Switch OFF - normal vehicle screen. If I don't follow up in two days from now, you'll know it worked as planned. If I'm back on here to eat crow, I'll have a good explanation.

Needed an inline switch for a USB light. Works excellently as needed

Works Great
I have a webcam that I don't want running 24x7. This solved that problem wonderfully. Simple button press and its disconnected. Reconnects just as easily.I recommend this for things like Webcams, Boom Mics, or any other accessory you don't necessarily want running at all times.
