During my labor I suffered a skin lesion right above the area of my urethra upon birthing my baby. Used this spray generously on my pad after birth, and within 2 hours it HEALED! I did not need to use a peri bottle to use the bathroom at all. Currently 10 days PP and having to still wear pads which agitate me from friction down there, I use this spray to help, and boy does it help! My nipples have been incredibly sore, inflamed, and cracked from nursing every two hours or less and I decided to use this spray because why not! And all of the described discomfort has ceased drastically within 2 hrs with the help of airing out the nips too! Still a tiny bit tender but nowhere near the sensitivity before, inflammation has gone completely down, and the cracks have healed very nicely. Simply spray directly or onto palm and apply generously. This spray is absolute wonders!! I do plan to give my nipples a good rinse before my next feed as it is only directed for external uses. Great, effective product for all the down-low woes of late pregnancy and vaginal births.I used this after my first pregnancy, after receiving it as a gift. I will admit that I was skeptical because it’s an all-natural product, and I had some serious post-delivery trauma. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness, and actually found more relief from this than the Dermaplast they gave me at the hospital.So, when I needed some similar care late in my second pregnancy, this product was the first thing I reached for.Like many other reviewers, the application can be a pain...obviously if you’re spraying this on your bum and perineal area you’re probably going to need to turn it upside down...in which case it only sprays if there is already liquid inside the ‘straw’ that attaches to the nozzle...thus, I have to pump the nozzle once or twice, pulling the liquid into the straw, before turning the bottle upside-down to apply it. Not ideal, and obviously wasteful.That being said, if you used this 6 times a day starting late in your pregnancy (for hemorrhoids) and then after childbirth for say 3-4 weeks, you would probably still need just one bottle, despite the poor design that requires wastefulness.
