Glorious Switch Opener - Durable ABS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Switch Opener (GLO-Acc-SO)

O Switch Opener da Glorious é uma ferramenta simples, possui sua estrutura em plástico ABS e pode ser utilizada para abrir os interruptores nas duas extremidades, esquerda e direita. No lado esquerdo, onde possui quatro pontas, abre os interruptores Kailh e no direito, contendo seis pontas, abre os outros tipos de interruptores. Assim como outros acessórios do mesmo segmento e de outros fabricantes, é um acessório fundamental que lhe permite economizar tempo na abertura dos interruptores para lub. Gostei do design minimalista e da qualidade do material, já que a estação de lubrificação da Glorious possui um slot dedicado a ferramenta.

The plastic design did not make it through a pack of 70 switches before giving way and when it was working required way more force to open switches than would be necessary with a metal opener. The 'sharp' edges that are supposed to go between the upper and bottom housing have rolled over and dented. TL;DR, just get a metal one.

Looking at other reviews, I saw people eating this poorly for gateron switches… I picked it up despite needing it for lubing my gpro milky reds and I had no issues. The negative reviews mentioned that the angle is too harsh, pushing the tabs too far and damaging the switch latching mechanism but I think they were probably just pushing way too hard. To use these properly, you just need to push until the clips pop off. You still need to pull the switch apart afterwards but this requires very little effort. If you are pushing on the switch to the point the top housing just falls off, you are pushing too hard. I also chose this because it is plastic and not metal as to not scratch my switches as well as it being cheaper than pretty much any other option I found where the reviews weren’t people saying that it simply didn’t fit the switch it said it was for. Anyways, I opened 91 switches with it and had 0 issues!

Lo switch opener fa il suo sia per switch MX che NX. Se avete una Glorious Lube station è fatto apposta per fittarci. La qualità costruttiva è però mediocre, plastica che da idea di fragilità e poco durevole e al prezzo a cui viene proposto (17 EUR) lo trovo davvero esagerato.
